{$} உமை ஓர் பங்கா! நஞ்சை உண்டாய் என்று உள்கி
meditating in their minds, `O Lord who has Umai as a half! you drank the poison!'
தொண்டாய்த் திரியும் அடியார்தங்கள் துயரங்கள் அண்டா வண்ணம் அறுப்பான்
the Lord who severs the sufferings of the devotees who wander about with devotedness.
எந்தை ஊர்
the place of our father.
வெண்தாமரைமேல் கருவண்டு யாழ்செய் வெண்காடு
is Veṇkāṭu where the black bees hum like the music of [the] yāḻ [while] sitting on the white lotus.

{$} நாதன் நம்மை ஆள்வான் என்று நவின்று ஏத்திப் பாதம் பன்னாள் பணியும் அடியார்தங்கள்மேல் ஏதம் தீர இருந்தான் ஊர்
the place where the Lord was residing to remove the aproaching sufferings of his devotees who bow to his feet many days, praising ceaselessly He is our Lord; he will acccept us as his protege
வேதத்து ஒலியால் கிளி சொல் பயிலும் வெண்காடு
is Veṇkātu where the parrots speak words like the sound of the Vētam

{$} தண் முத்து அரும்பத் தடம் மூன்றுடையான் தனை உன்னிக்கண்-முத்து அரும்பக்கழற் சேவடி கை தொழுவார்கள் உள்முத்து அரும்ப உவகை தருவான் ஊர்
the place of the Lord who grants happiness so that the mind is pure without any blemish to those who worship with their hands the feet wearing anklets, when tears flow like [a] string of pearls, meditating upon the Lord who has three tanks where cool pearls appear like buds.
(1) வெண்முத்து அருவிப் புனல் வந்து அலைக்கும் வெண்காடு
is Veṇkāṭu where the water of the stream resembling pearls wanders backwards and forwards.

{$} நரையார் வந்து நாளும் குறுகி
grey hairs appear and the end of the life also draws near.
நணுகாமுன்
before they approach us.
உரையால் வேறா உள்குவார்கள் உள்ளத்தே கரையா வண்ணம் கண்டான் மேவும் ஊர்
the place desired by the Lord who makes people who meditate upon him as different from other gods, by their words, steady in their minds.
விரை ஆர் கமலத்து அன்னம் மருவும் வெண்காடு
is Veṇkāṭu where the swans are found seated in fragrant lotus flowers.

{$} பிள்ளைப் பிறையும் புனலும் சூடும் பெம்மான் என்று உள்ளத்து உள்ளித் தொழுவார் தங்கள் உறு நோய்கள் தள்ளிப் போக அருளும் தலைவன் ஊர்
the place of the Lord who bestows his grace on people who worship him thinking of him in their minds as the great one who wears on his head a tender crescent and [the] water (of the Kaṇkai), for their acute diseases to go far away from them.
வெள்ளைச் சுரி சங்கு உலவித்திரியும் வெண்காடு
is Veṇkāṭu where the white conch with spirals, moves and wanders.

{$} ஓளி கொள் மேனி உடையாய்! உம்பர் ஆளீ என்று
thinking that `you have a brilliant form; you have the tēvar-s as your servants'.
அளியர் ஆகி (1) அழுது ஊற்று ஊறும் அடியார்கட்கு எளியான்
the Lord who is easily accessible to the devotees who have the highest limit of love and who weep, rooted firmly in the grace of the Lord;

அமரர்க்கு அரியான்
who is at the same time difficult to be approached by the immortals.
வாழும் ஊர்
the place where [the Lord of above mentioned qualities] resides
(2) வெளிய உருவத்து ஆனை வணங்கும் வெண்காடு
is Veṇkāṭu where the elephant of white colour is worshipped.

{$} வேள்விப் புகையால் வானம் இருள் கூர் வெண்காடு
Veṇkātu where the sky becomes very dark by the smoke that rises from sacrifices.

கோள்வித்து அனைய கூற்றம் தன்னைக் குறிப்பினால் மாள்வித்து
Having killed the god of death who is the seed for killing, by his meditation.
அவனை மகிழ்ந்து அங்கு (1) ஏத்தும் மாணிக்காய்
on behalf of the bachelor who praised Civaṉ with gladness

அமரர் உலகம் ஆள்வித்து அளிப்பான் ஊர்
is the place for the god who made him rule over the celestial world and thereby bestowed his favour on him.

{$} விளை ஆர் கழனிப் பழனம் சூழ்ந்த வெண்காடு
Veṇkatu which is surrounded by tanks near the fields which yield produce abundantly.
வளை ஆர் முன்கை மலையாள் வெருவ
seeing the daughter of the mountain who has bangles on her forearm to be seized with fear

வரை ஊன்றி
Having pressed down the mountain.
முளை ஆர் மதியம் சூடி
wearing the crescent that appears every day.
என்றும் முப்போதும் இளையாது ஏத்த இருந்தான் எந்தை ஊர்
is the place of the god, our father, who resides there to be worshipped always thrice without growing weary.

{$} விரி ஆர் பொழிலின் வண்டு பாடும் வெண்காடு
Veṇkātu where in the blossomed gardens bees hum like music.
கரியானோடு கமல மலரான் காணாமை எரியாய் நிமிர்ந்த எங்கள் பெருமான் என்பார்கட்கு உரியான்
the Lord who is the property of those devotees who praise that he shot up as a column of fire that could not seen by the black-coloured (Māl) and the one who is seated in the lotus flower.
அமரர்க்கு அரியான்
and is difficult to be reached by the immortals.
வாழும் ஊர்
is the place where he resides.

{$} பாடும் அடியார் பலரும் கூடி பரிந்து ஏத்த
to be praised affectionately by all the devotees with music, gathering together.
ஆடும் அரவம் அசைத்த பெருமான்
the Lord who fastened a dancing cobra as a girdle.
அறிவு இன்றி மூடம் உடைய சமண் சாக்கியர்கள் உணராத வேடமுடைய பெருமான் பதி வெண்காடு ஆம்
Veṇkātu is the place of the Lord who has a disguised form which cannot be understood by the camaṇ and cākkiyar who have only ignorance and no wisdom.

{$} கடை ஆர் மாடம் கலந்து தோன்றும் காழியான் நடை ஆர் இன்சொல் ஞானசம்பந்தன்
Ñāṉacampantaṉ who has sweet words of good style and who is a native of Kāḻi where the storeys appear with many entrances.
விடை ஆர் கொடியான் மேவி உறையும் வெண்காட்டைப் (பாடிய) தமிழ் வல்லார்க்கு - வினைகள் அடையா
sins will not approach those who are able to recite the Tamiḻ verses in praise of Veṇkātu where the god with a banner in which there is a bull, resides with joy.
அமரலோகம் ஆள்வார்
they will rule over the celestial world.
