- where the new travellers being very weary (10)

- which are prominent and spread far and wide the deeds and fame of fallen warriors (8)

As the warriors of the desert tract sharpen their arrows on the emmorial tablets
the engraved letters have become worn out, so the way farers could not read them joining the letters,
and on account of their weariness they pass it and go beyond.
பெயர், பயம்: name and victorious deeds;
""நல்லமர்க் கடந்த நாணுடை மறவர், பெயரும் பீடும் எழுதி அதர் தொறும், பீலி சூட்டிய பிறங்கு நிலை நடுகல்'' (அகம் 67-8-10).
புறவின்(11) முன்றிலில்(12) வெருகின்(13) பின்ளை(14) தாய்வழிப்படூ உம்(15) சிறு குடி(16) என்று இயைக்க.
The white wild cat is compared to the white moon and the kitten that surround it are compared to stars.
The kite, as soon as it hears the sound of the drum, hopes to get good food; so it flies from where it was perched.
When talaivi said that she would accompany talaivaṉ in the fearful forest, her looks were beautiful on account of the joy;
those looks stood impressed permanently in talaivaṉ's mind so he praised them as "மகிழ் பட நோக்கு'
