TRANSLATION
- I did not understand the love and greatness (9)
- of the chief of the village where the fresh flowers of the waving twigs in the forked branches
of the black branches of the mango-tree (7)
- which is near the fields (6),
- fall and spread like the drops of rain when they mingle with one another (8)
- encircling the sledges and bubrushes on which dew has settled (6)
- and where men harvesting white paddy throw down many bundles
of corns of long grains allowing no vacant place (5),
- after they have eaten eagerly the fatty pieces of big fish having lines and bright colour,
seizing them with their mouths, (3)
- which were caught in the clear water of the deep tank (2)
- where the thorny plant having flowers resembling blue stones grows abundantly (1).

- being abashed and sitting in a tranquil posture like the ladies who wear curved ear-rings (12)
- with sandal paste smeared and appearing beautifully with a shining silk dress (11).
- On seeing him my heart melted on account of ignorance (foolishness) (13)
