TRANSLATION
- Friend! May you live long (13)
- As your choice beauty of your body gets spoiled (3)
- by the distemper caused by the chief of the forest region adjacent (2)
- to the big blue mountain which rises high as if to touch the sky (1),
- I shall suggest you one remedy (4).
- As the Kaviri of flowing black hairs falling on the back had carried away (8)
- when it came spreading its freshes,- having fallen in love with the beauty of āṭṭaṉ atti (7)
- who had rising and round shoulders of collective beauty (6)
- and, who was bathing in the festival at the big ghat of Kaḻar (5),
- where the muḻavu is always being played without stopping (4)
- ātimanti searched for her husband in all directions (and became confused in mind (9)
- In order to attain great fame like maruti who dived into the sea and brought forth her husband
and showed him to her and was celebrated in the poems of poets (11).
- Let us go in the very cool path, in which at night, the clouds poured heavily (15)
- for many days (13),
- combining with very strong and violent thunders (14)
