TRANSLATION
- (My mind)! The clouds which completely hid the sun with myriads of rays (2)
- having spread themselves on the big and extensive sky to conceal it from view, (1)
- pours heavy rains with many drops (4)
- without ceasing to make the herd of big male elephants with their female ones to feel chill (3).
- Our king too has opposed strong enemies (5)
- and does not get sleep (7)
- in the tent (6)
- where the long brilliant lance which has a blade resembling a leaf turned upside (5),
- glitters (6),
- being desirous of achieving fame by vanquishing his enemies (7)
- The burden of winning the war lies with us (8).
- What will be the state (10)
- of my lady with the tresses of fine appearance, (9)
- who has clearly understood us by her intelligence (9)
- that we are her nearest and dearest relation, (8)
- when she, in her solitude (15)
- even during the evenings of winter (15),
