• won't stay there with a joyful mind (14),

• which has villages where white paddy grows abundantly (13).
• (In that desert) on the slopes of the old mountain which has peaks that seem to touch the sky, (15)
• the male of the bear with large open mouth and big hands (16),
• stays with joy (18)
• with its female of shrunken breasts (18)
• and cub which has plumpy hairs (17)
• resembling darkness cut into several pieces (17).

தோழி! வாழி! (1); அம்ம(1); "பெருங்கடல் உவவுக் கிளர்ந்தாங்கு(9) அலரும் மன்றுபட்டன்று(10); அன்னையும் வெய்ய உயிர்க்கும்' என்று(11) எவன் கையற்றனை(12)? இகுளை(12)! சுரன் இறந்தோர் சோழர் நல் நாடு பெறினும்(13) ஆண்டு அமைந்து உறைநர் அல்லர்(14).
