- so that it fell on my back
on which rested my braided hair (7)
- on which bees were humming (6),
- and which was made to blossom by forcefully
expanding the petals with fingers (6),
- made of bright blue nelumbo
(குவளைமலர்) flowers
which grow in abundance in the cool tanks (5).
- He gazed at my young breasts
of good growth and was engaged
in deep thought about something for a long time (8)
- Afterwards he went away without staying there (9).
- Only on account of that (9)
- the noisy people of this village (15)
- look at me too (15),
- after looking at the minute pollen, golden in colour (14),
- of the mast-wood tree, having curved trunk
which stands in the garden (13)
- with the fetid cassia
and which is by the side of the fragrant screw-pine (12)
- which has thorny leaves and on which
many kinds of birds perch together (11)
