NOTES
In line 9 the annotators of Kaḻakam edition have split "தோட்டாழ்பு' as "தோட்டு ஆழ்பு.'
But I have split into தோள்தாழ்பு; cf. "தோள்தாழ்பு இருளிய குவையிருங் கூந்தல்"(அகம் 197-10);
In the Rajam edition of the text also it is split as I have done it.
