• Therefore you must break as to be completely destroyed and be pitied (7-8)
• In the matter of acquiring wealth by going in the paths of the desert you are wavering as you do not decide one way or the other (14)
• just like the waves of the big ocean (13)
• which reach the shore with prawn and return back with garlands in the big ghat (துறை) (11-2)
• where the Kāviri which has such great depth as to submerge the oars of coracles (11),
• rushes into the sea, and which belongs to coḻar of great munificence, who have many shields resembling sable clouds, lances smeared with excessive fat, whose sharp blades shine like bright moonlight (8-10)

நெஞ்சே! வாழிய!(8); குன்றம்(4) இறந்து பொருள் தருதலும் ஆற்றாய்(5); சில் ஐங்கூந்தல் நல்லகம் பொருந்தி(6) ஒழியின், வறுமை அஞ்சுதி (7); சோழர்(10) காவிரிக் கடல்மண்டு பெருந்துறை(11) ஓதம்போலச்(13) சென்றுதரு பொருட்கு ஒன்றில் கொள்ளாய்(14); (ஆதலால்) அழிதக(7) உடைமதி(8).
