• who was sitting shedding tears (15)
• and feeling sulky brooding over many things (15)

• you did a pleasant act (14).

எந்தை(14)! வேந்துவினைமுடித்த காலை(1), கடும் பரித்தேர்(6) ஏறி(7), சீறூர் பலபிறக்கு ஒழிய(வந்து) மாலை(13) பலபுலந்து உறையும்(15) அரிவை(16) அணியப் போது வேய்தந்தோய்(17); (அதனால்) இனிது செய்தனை; வாழிய(14).
