• having become weak and the quality of sutpidity (மடம்) having increased on account of the chastity which you have like aṇaṅku (5) (அணங்கு-அருந்ததி.)
• having simply plaited your tresses (1)
• and dressing then as one large coil on the head without any other adornement, (1)
• anointing them that flow on the back, with scented oil (1-2),
• and a single chain of a pearl necklace emitting rays between the breast (4)
• like the eyes of the wild cat which looks in the darkness (3)
• you feel sorry for me also (8)
• thinking, `What will become of her who is to be pitied (7)
• as fear possesses her (6)?'
• You and I who feel sorry in that manner (8)
• do not think that what one does is not the proper thing to be done as we are of one and the same mind (9)
• Get up and come to see (11)
