• the young servants who have victorious lances, which have strong handles which are well soaked in oiled and beautiful shapes like that of a broad leaf, (5-6)

• The wild hen searchs its food by scratching with its beak the sand near the red soil on which lines have been drawn by the swift moving rains water in the way where the chariots pass (7-9)
• The eminent bull which pierces with its horns the damp ant hills in which snakes live (10),

• returns to the village in the company of its young cows which they always wish to be by their side (13)
• All of them join together (13)
• call their calves by their bellowing voices (14)
• and enter into the common cow-stall to fill it up (14)
• our talaivi hears every now and then, as they walk, the pleasant and clear sound produced by the bells which are tied to their necks (15),
• in the evening when solitude reigns supreme (16)
• she stays there in a confused and helpless state (17)
• (If we wish to undertake the return journey (17)
• this is the proper moment to remove her prostrate state (17)
