• having cut the rope to which it was tied at night when the whole village was asleep (2)
• removes the fence made of sharp thorns by its horns (3)
• It makes all the fish in the field which has abundant water to run helter-skelter (4)
• and disturbs the beautiful and hollow creeper of vaḷḷai (5)
• and grazes sumptuously the cool flowers of lotus inside which the bees hum (5-6).

ஊர(6)! நிற்புலக்கேம்; யாரை யோ(7); பிறரும்(9) ஒருத்தியைத்தந்து(9) வதுவை அயர்ந்தனை என்ப(10); எந்தை(11)! அஃதுயாம்(10) கூறேம்(11) தொடி நெகிழினும் நெகிழ்க(15); பெரும! சென்றீ(16); நிற்றகைக்குநர் யாரோ.
காரான்(1) பரிந்து(2) நீக்கி(3) மயக்கி(5) ஆரும் ஊர(6).
