• Young deer which is breathing hard and on account of the heat, which has a herd of stags with pleasant voice (9-10)!
• (When I remarked to my daughter), young girl of mature wisdom! your breasts have made their appearance; (your milk teeth have fallen and) bright sharp teeth are curring in their places (1)
• your tresses have grown luxuriously to be tied into several knots. You are wearing a garment made of cool leaves (2)

• and having gone quickly like the deer that escapes from a net which it sees spread before it went in this desert at this place with a chief of the desert tract, (விடலை) who has a white lance that does not know defeat (12-13).
• Then itself, I could not reach her person following her wherever she went like the people who, when the robbers in the unbearable desert, lifted straightaway the cows from their sheds, chase following them and fight to rescue the cows (13-16).
• At this place you hear with attention the reason for questioning you (17)
• and (tell me the way they went).
