• My heart staid behind for [that] innocence of many glories,
• [her] pure bangles glittering few in a row,
• who stood retreating(?), smiling [her] smile,
• saying "who [are] you that you obstruct us?"
• casting with the dark yield(?) of her collyrium eyes covered with streaks
• great [looks] when we obstructed [her] a little,
• saying "we don't weary of the price of the living salt of your body,
• o you with bamboo shoulders [and] a pretty curved navel(?),
• who move forward in every street, saying "equality of
• rice and salt, you of the village, won't you take?",
• becoming tired ...?[FNote_152], with a garland with many sprouts
• that decorated, to obtain beauty, the hip wonderful with [precious] stones,
• while [your] curvy curly hair-knot is completely(?) deranged.
• [Is this] a good time for living in a group
• on the long paths, where the saltmerchants go with unbefitting(?) sticks,
• setting out for the dusty distant fields found by sand,
• proclaiming the price for the highly(?) ripe salt?"
