• Even if it [is] not a pleasant abode,
• encircled[FNote_77] by water, of a smallness as not to be perceived as a village,
• with [its] grass-covered huts in a quarter reeking of fish,
• in a street where sand is much, shining like moonlight, -
• up, o you who have come[FNote_78] to our place, a pleasure to whoever have
• staid a single day, that makes [them] forget their own place the other day!
• After spending the day time with us,
• having appreciated many things in a spot high-grown with trees,
• where the waves of the extension grazed by shells[FNote_79],
• coming in thick, keep breaking quietly(?)[FNote_80],
• [now] that night comes you have to yoke[FNote_81] [your] good chariot.
• If it is not so [and] you were to go [and] join [us][FNote_82], we all of us(?)[FNote_83]
• will protect [you], according to our limits.
