• Looking at [your] curled tresses, when the braiding was coming off(?),
• and at the beauty spots that have budded gold-like and at [your] breasts
• that rise, the nipples taking shape, while the bra was coming off(?),
• saying many times "your [are] greatly splendid",
• embracing [you] so as to enjoy your big shoulders, thinking long,
• mother ordained heavy protection,
• - at the time you departed, you with a chest full of garlands,
• when [she] was suffering, saying "he does not come",
• being vexed many [times?] each time she saw the seashore grove and the backwaters,
• where the eye-like huge flowers of the blue water-lily matured
• on the big ghat grazed by shells, where swift-going sword-fish are roaming,
• flower coolly, along with the blue lotus, fragrant with nectar,
• at the time when the sapphire petals close, in the evening,
• while the mouths of the buds open on the pear-tree that budded.
