ஊன் ஆய்
being the different bodies.
புகல் உயிர் ஆய்
and the lives that have entered into them.
அகல் இடம் ஆய்
being the wide world.
முகில்பொழியும் (1) வானாய்
being the sky from where the clouds pour rain.
(1) விதிவரு மதிஆய்
being the mind which is the gate for fate to enter to bear their fruits.
வருவான் இடம்
the place of god who stays in that manner.
பொழிலின் தேர் ஆதரித்து வண்டினம் இசை மிழற்றும் திருச்சுழியல் நானாவிதம் வினைவார்தமை நலியார் நமன்தமர் (ஏ)
the servants of the god of death will not inflict pain on those who think in many ways tiruccuḻiyal where in the gardens the swarms of bees desiring honeyhum like music.

தண்டு ஏர் மழுப்படையான் மழவிடையான்
Civaṉ who has a club and a beautiful battle-axe and a young bull.
இமையவர்க்காக் கடல் எழு நஞ்சு உண்டு(ஏ) புரம் எரியச் சிலை வளைத்தான் திண்தேர்மிசை நின்றான் (அவன்) உறையும் திருச்சுழியல்
in tiruccuḻiyal where he stood on the strong chariot bending the bow to set fire to the cities and consumed the poison which rose in the sea in order to protect the celestials who do not wink.
தொண்டே செயவல்லார் (அவர்) நல்லார்; துயர் இலர்(ஏ)
those who are able to do service to him are good natured people and they will not have any suffering.

கவ்வைக்கடல் கதறிக் கொணர் முத்தம் (1) கரைக்கு ஏற்ற
when the ocean roars and brings and pearls to pile upon the noisy shore.
கொவ்வைத் துவர்வாயார் குடைந்து ஆடும் திருச்சுழியல் தெய்வத்தினை வழிபாடுசெய்து எழுவார் அடிதொழுவார்
those who worship the feet of the devotees who in their turn worship god and then wake up from sleep in tiruccuḻiyal where the ladies who have red lips like the fruit of the common creeper of the hedge, dive and bathe.
அவ்வத்திசைக்கு அரசு ஆகுவர்
will rule over the regions in which they live.
அலரான் பிரியான் (ஏ)
the goddess of wealth will never leave them.

மலையான்மகள் மடமாது இடம் ஆகத்தவன்
when the daughter of the mountain who is a young lady is on the left half of his body.
கொலையானையின் உரிபோர்த்த எம்பெருமான் திருச்சுழியல் அலைஆர் சடைஉடையான் அடிதொழுவார்
those who worship the feet of Civaṉ who has on hiscaṭai water with waves and who dwells in tiruccuḻiyal and who covers his body with the skin of an elephant capable of killing.
பழுது உள்ளம் நினையார்
will not have any evil thoughts in their minds.
திகழ் (1) புகழால் நெடு வானத்து உயர்வார் (ஏ)
will ascend into the extensive heaven after establishing their eminent fame in this world.

Civaṉ is our relation.
உயரும் மதிச்சடையான்
wears on his caṭai an eminent crescent.
புலன் ஐந்தும் செற்று ஆர் திருமேனிப் பெருமான் ஊர் திருச்சுழியல்
tiruccuḻiyal is the place of Civaṉ who has a holy body in which all the perceptions of the senses have been subdued.

இனிது உறையப் பெற்றான் திருநாமம் திறம்பாமைக் கற்றார் (அவர்) கதியுள் செல்வர்(ஏ)
those who have learnt to utter the names of Civaṉ who dwells with pleasure there, without deviating from the right path will enter into higher stages of existences.
ஏத்து(ம்) மது கடன் (ஏ)
(People of this world) it is your religious duty to praise his names.

{$} மலம் தாங்கிய பாசப்பிறப்பு அறுப்பீர்
People of this world who wish to exterminate birth with is connected with the spiritual impurities, like āṇavam!
துறைக்கங்கைச் சலம் தாங்கிய முடியான்
Civaṉ has a head on which he bears the water of the Kaṅkai which has many ghats.
அமர்ந்த இடம் ஆம் திருச்சுழியல், நிலம் தாங்கிய பலரால் கொழும்புகையால் நினைந்து ஏத்தும்
praise with intention worshipping him with fragrant incense and flowers that are borne by the earth, tirucculiyal which is his desired place.
(1) தலம் தாங்கிய புகழ் ஆம்
you will obtain fame, which is supported by this earth.
மிகுதவம் ஆம்
it is also increasing penance.
சதுர் ஆம்
that is skill.

Civaṉ has a red form described in the caiva ākamams.
திருநீற்றன்
smears sacred ash.
உரும் ஏற்றன்
has a bull that bellows like the thunder
கைவைத்த ஒரு சிலையால் அரண்மூன்றும் எரி செய்தான்
set fire to all the three forts with a bow held in the hand.
தெய்வத்தவர் தொழுது ஏத்திய குழகன் திருச்சுழியல் மெய் வைத்து
thinking in the mind about tiruccuḻiyal of the youth who is praised and worshipped with joined hands, by divine sages.
அடிநினைவார் வினை தீர்தல்(ல்) எளிது (அன்று, ஏ)
perishing of the acts of those who think of his feet is easy.

சே ஏந்திய கொடியான் (அவன்) உறையும் திருச்சுழியல் மா ஏந்திய கரத்தான் எம சிரத்தான்தனது அடியே
the feet of Civaṉ only who holds a flag of a bull, who holds a deer in his hand and who dwells on our heads; in his tiruccuḻiyal.
பூ ஏந்திய பீடத்தவன்(தான்) உம், அடல் அரியும்
Piramaṉ who is in an elevated seat of a (lotus) flower and the strong ari (Māl)
கோஏந்திய வினயத்தொடு குறுகப்புகல் அறியார்
do not know to reach them with supreme humility.

{$} கொண்டாடுதல் புரியா வரு தக்கன் பெருவேள்ளி செண்டாடுதல் புரிந்தான் திருச்சுழியல் பெருமானை
about the Lord in tiruccuḻiyal who ruined the big sacrifice of takkaṉ who indulged in self-praise.
குண்டுஆடிய சமண்ஆதர்கள் குடைச்சாக்கியர் அறியா மிண்டு ஆடிய அதுசெய்து அது ஆனால் (1) வருவிதி (ஏ)
it is their fate if the low and ignorant camanar, and cākkiyar who have an umbrella, enter into a crimonious religious discussion and if they stick to their own ways.

நீர் ஊர்தரு நிமலன் திருமலையார்க்கு அயல் அருகே தேர்(2) ஊர்தரும் அரக்கன் சிரம் நெரித்தான் திருச்சுழியல்
having tiruccuḻiyal of Civaṉ who crushed the heads of the arakkaṉ who was driving in a chariot near the holy mountain and by its side, of the spotless god, where streams flow down.
பேர் ஊர் என உறைவான் (2) அடிப்பெயர் நாவலர் கோமான் ஆரூரன தமிழ்மாலை பத்து அறிவார்
those who know to recite the ten garlands of tamiḻ verses done by ārūraṉ, the chief of the residents of nāvalūr and who has the name of the feet of the Lord who dwells in tiruccuḻiyal esteeming it as a great city.
துயர் இலர் (ஏ)
will have no sufferings.
