அதிகை வீரட்டானம் ஆட்சி கொண்டார்
has the ownership of Atikai Vīraṭṭāṉam
தாமரையோன் சிரம் அரிந்து கையில் கொண்டார்

முப்புரிநூல் வரைமார்பில் முயங்கக் கொண்டார்
has on his chest which has three lines, a sacred thread of three strands to befit his body (வரை lines)

had a young cobra that hides everything in addition to a white crescent just risen, to stay side by side.

wore on his legs an anklot and a sounding Kaḻal to make a big sound.

பூதப்படைகள் புடைசூழக் கொண்டார்

pressed down the acuraṉ by name antakaṉ by the sharp trident.
அருமறையைத் தேர்க்குதிரை ஆக்கிக் கொண்டார்
converted the abstruse vētams as horses drawing his chariot.
சுந்தரனைத் துணைக்கவரி வீசக் கொண்டார்
had cuntaraṉ to wave the two chauris on either side (this was ālālasundarar in Kayilai who was later born in nāvalūr as cuntarar)
சுடுகாடு நடம்ஆடும் இடமாக் கொண்டார்

பவளநிறம் கொண்டார்

had the colour of the crystal quartz (this is owing to his smearing white sacred ash)
நீர் அடங்கு சடைமுடிமேல் நிலாவும் கொண்டார்
placed the crescent on the caṭai coiled into a crown in which the water is deposied.
நீலநிறம் கோலம் நிறைமிடற்றில் கொண்டார்

அணிதில்லை அம்பலம் ஆடு அரங்காக் கொண்டார்
had the hall in beautiful tillai as the dance-stage.
ஆலால அருநஞ்சம் அமுதாக் கொண்டார்
consumed the very cruel poison, which is known by the name of ālālam, and which has no anti-dote, as nectar
கணி வளர் தார்ப் பொன் இதழிக் கமழ் தார் கொண்டார்
adorned himself with a chaplet of golden koṉṟai of flourishing clusters and with a fragrant garland on the chest (தார் cluster of flowers)

created Māl who sleeps on a serpent which is furious and has a hood, intiraṉ and Piramaṉ who is seated on a lotus flower (மூர்க்கம்-மூக்கம்)

bore even the Kaṅkai which descended with such a great force as to destroy the world, in one of his many caṭais

adorned on his caṭai a flower of the bottle flower tree, cobra and a crescent.
நந்தீசனைக் குடமுழா வாசகனார்க் கொண்டார்
had Nantīcaṉ to play on the large hemispherical loud-sounding drum, an instrument.
சிராமலை தம் சேர்வுஇடமாத் திருந்தக் கொண்டார்
had Cirāmalai as his place, fitting of his greatness.
தென்றல் நெடுந்தேரோனைப் பொன்றக்கொண்டார்
became angry to destroy completely Maṉmataṉ who has the southern balmy breeze as his tall chariot.
பராபரன் என்பது தமது பேராக் கொண்டார்
had as his name parāparaṉ which means as one superior to things considered superior
