(0) அலை ஆர் புனல் கங்கை நங்கை காண அம்பலத்தில் அரு நட்டம் ஆடி
Performing the rare dance in the hall for the lady of distinction Kaṅkai to witness it, who is in the form of water with waves, and who was concealed in his caṭai.
வேடம் தொலையாத (1) வென்றியார்
he has the victory of that form which does not become extinct.
நின்றியூரும் நெடுங்களமும் மேவி
dwelling in Niṉṟiyūr and Neṭuṅkaḷam.
விடையை மேற்கொண்டு
riding upon a bull.
இலை ஆர் படைகையில் ஏந்தி
holding in the hand a weapon of (three) blades (trident).
எங்கும் இமையவரும் உமையவளும் இறைஞ்சி ஏத்த
to be praised by falling prostrate by the celestials and Umaiyavaḷ, in all places.
மலை ஆர் திரள் அருவிப் பொன்னி சூழ்ந்த வலஞ்சுழியே புக்கு இடமா (2) மருவினாரே
Civaṉ stayed as his place entering into Valañcuḻi surrounded by Poṉṉi which is the collection of streams which take their source in the mountain.
