{$} அரவு அணையாள் சிந்தித்து அரற்றும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which the god who has a bed of a serpent meditates upon and shouts with excitement.
அருமறையான் சென்னிக்கு அணிஆம் அடி
the feet that are the ornaments for the head of Piramaṉ who learnt the abstruse vetams.
சரவணத்தான் கைதொழுது சாரும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which Murukaṉ who was born in a thicket of Kaus grass approaches with joined hands.
சார்ந்தார்கட்கு எல்லாம் சரண் ஆம் அடி
the feet that afforts asylum to all those who approach them.
பரவுவார் பாவம் (1) பறைக்கும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which remove the sins of those who praise him in the second person.
பதினெண் கணங்களும் பாடும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which are sung by all the eighteen classes of celestial hosts.
(2) திரைவிரவு தென்கெடில நாடன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the Lord in the country where the Keṭilam which has waves, flows in the south, (தென் கெடிலம் the underlined word is a qualifying word that has no class).
திருவீரட்டானத்து எம்செல்வன் அடி
the feet of our Lord tiruvīraṭṭāṉam. (Note: The last two lines, form the subject and the previous lines are the predicates; this will apply to the following verses).

{$} கொடுவினையார் என்றும் குறுகா அடி
the feet which the people of cruel acts never draw near.
குறைந்து அடைந்தார் ஆழாமைக் காக்கும்(ம்)அடி
the feet which protect those who approach them languishing from worries and sufferings;

படுமுழவம் பாணி பயின்றும்(ம்) அடி
the feet that make people improve playing on the sounding muḻavam and knowledge of measure of time.
பதைத்து எழுந்த வெங்கூற்றைப் பாய்ந்த(வ்) அடி
the feet that pounced upon the cruel god of death who rose anxiously (to take the life of mārkaṇṭēyaṉ)
கடுமுரண் ஏறு ஊர்ந்தான் கழற்சேவடி
the red lotus feet which wear kaḻal, of Civaṉ who rode on a bull of ferocious strength.
கடல் வையம் காப்பான் கருதும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which are in the thoughts of Māl who preserves the living beings in the earth firt by the ocean.
நெடுமதி அம்கண்ணி அணிந்தான் அடி
the feet of the god who wore a long chaplet of a crescent.
நிறை கெடில வீரட்டம் நீங்கா அடி
the feet which never leave vīraṭṭam on the bank of the Keṭilam which is full of water.

{$} (1) வைது எழுவார் காமம் பொய் போகா அடி
the feet that are the cause of the lust and falsehood not to leave of those who wake up from sleep indulging in abuse about Civaṉ (they will get sunk in those things and there will be no redemption for them)
வஞ்சவலைப்பட்டு ஒன்று(உம்) (2) இல்லாஅடி
the feet which have not caught in the net of deceit, in however a small measure.
கைதொழுது நாம் ஏத்திக்காணும்(ம்) அடி
the feet the vision of which we can obtain by worshipping them with joined hands and praising.
கணக்கு வழக்கைக் கடந்த அடி
the feet that transcends all limits.
நாம் ஏத்தித் தொழுது நெய் ஆட்டும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which we bathe in ghee by praising and worshipping with joined hands.
நீள் விசும்பை ஊடறுத்து நின்ற(வ்) அடி
the feet which stood piercing through the long sky.
தெய்வப்புனற்கெடில நாடன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the Lord who is in the region where the Keṭilam of divine water flows.
திருவீரட்டானத்து எம் செல்வன் அடி

அழகு எழுதல் ஆகா அருள் சேவடி
the red lotus feet which confer grace and whose beauty cannot be drawn on any picture.
சுரும்பு இத்தம் வண்டினங்கள் சூழ்ந்த(வ்) அடி
the feet surrounded by the swams of bees pleasing to look at, and curampu

சோமனையும் காமனையும் காய்ந்த அடி

திருந்துநீர்த் தென்கெடில நாடன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the Lord who dwells in the region where the Keṭilam with good water, flows, in the south.

{$} ஒருகாலத்து ஒன்றாகி நின்ற(வ்) அடி
the feet that remained at the beginning of creation as the sole thing.
ஊழிதோறு ஊழிஉயர்ந்த(வ்) அடி
the feet which became great in every aeon.
பொருகழலும் பல்சிலம்பும் ஆர்க்கும்(ம்) அடி
the feet in which the Kaḻal which resemble each other exactly and many anklets make a big sound.
புகழ்வார் புகழ்தகைய வல்ல(வ்) அடி
the feet which can stop the praises of those who praise them (as the praises of the feet cannot be completed to the end people will give them up in the middle)
இருநிலத்தார் இன்புற்று அங்கு ஏத்தும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which are praised by the people of this wide world as they have enjoyed pleasures of the world.
இன்புற்றார் இட்டபூஏறும்(ம்) அடி
the feet on which the flowers laid by the people who have enjoyed pleasures of the world ascend.
திருவதிகைத் தென் கெடில நாடன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the Lord of the region fertilized by the Ketilam at tiruvatikai.
திருவீரட்டானத்து எம் செல்வன் (ன்) அடி
the feet of our god who is in tiruvīraṭṭāṉam.

{$} திருமகட்குச் செந்தாமரைஆம் அடி
the feet which are like the red-lotus for the goddess of wealth (feet of Civaṉ in the source of all wealth is the idea)
சிறந்தவர்க்குத் தேன் ஆய் விளைக்கும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which produce pleasure like the honey to those who have attained eternal bliss.
பொருளவர்க்குப் பொன் உரையாய் நின்ற அடி
the feet which are like the touch stone to the good and bad acts of rich people and reward them according to those acts.
புகழ்வார் புகழ் தகைய வல்ல(வ்) அடி

உருஇரண்டும் ஒன்றோடுஒன்று ஒவ்வாஅடி
the feet the forms of which are not in agreement with each other though both the forms are in the same body.
உரு என்று உணரப் படாத(வ்) அடி
the feet which cannot be realised as having only form as its nature. (They transcend both form and formlessness)
திருவதிகைத் தென் கெடில நாடன்(ன்) அடி; திருவீரட்டானத்து எம்செல்வன்(ன்) அடி

{$} உரைமாலை எல்லாம் உடைய(வ்) அடி
the feet which possess all the garlands of words.
உரையால் உணரப் படாத(வ்) அடி
the feet that cannot be comprehended by the words only which is one of the means of acquiring correct knowledge.
வரைமாதை வாடாமை வைக்கும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which keep the daughter of the mountain without paining due to deparation.
வானவர்கள் தாம் வணங்கி வாழ்த்தும் அடி
the feet which the inhabitants of heaven pay homage to, and sing songs of benediction.
அரைமாத்திரையில் அடங்கு(ம்) அடி
the feet which settle in the fraction half.
அகலம் அளக்கிற்ப்பார் இல்லா அடி
the feet which have no one capable of measuring their breath.

the feet of the Lord of the region of the river Keṭilam where the mango trees grow luxuriantly on the banks.
கமழ் வீரட்டானக் கபாலி(ய்) அடி
the feet of the Lord who has a skull and who is in vīraṭṭāṉam whose fame spreads everywhere.

the red lotus feet which are fragrant like the fragrant flower (மலர்ச்சேவடி is used in the sense of சேவடி as it is preceded by நறுமலராய் நாறும்)
நடுவாய் உலகம் நாடு ஆய(வ்) அடி
the feet which are righteousness and moral code for the conduct of the world and customs of the countries in it.
செறிகதிரும் திங்களுமாய் நின்ற(வ்) அடி
the feet that remained as the sun and the moon.
தீத்திரளாய் உள்ளே திகழ்ந்த(வ்) அடி
the feet which shine internally as a mass of fire.
மறுமதியை மாசு கழுவும்(ம்) அடி
the feet that cleans the blot in the moon which has a blot.
மந்திரமும் தந்திரமும் ஆய(வ்) அடி
the feet which are mantiram and manual acts performed in sacrifices and worship.

the feet of the Lord of the people inhabiting the region where the Keṭlam which is full of water, flows.

the feet which are not near at hand to those who are not devotees and not far off to devotees.
அடியார்கட்கு ஆரமுதம் ஆய(வ்) அடி
the feet which are the nectar which is rare to get, to the devotees.
(1) பணிபவர்க்குப் பாங்கு ஆக வல்ல(வ்) அடி
the feet which are capable of being companions to those who pay homage to them.
பற்று அற்றார் பற்றும் பவள(வ்) அடி
the feet which are as red as the coral and are held as support by those who have renounced all attachments.
மணிஅடி, பொன்அடி, மாண்புஆம் அடி
feet which as precious as gems, gold and greatness itself without any equal.
மருந்தாய்ப் பிணிதீர்க்கவல்ல(வ்) அடி
the feet which are capable of removing the disease of birth by being its remedy.
தனிபாடு தண் கெடில நாடன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the Lord of the region of the cool river, Keṭilam which makes a sweet sound.
தகைசேர் வீரட்டத்தலைவன் (ன்) அடி
the feet of the chief of the vīraṭṭam which has greatness.

the feet that blossomed like the beautiful lotus buds.
அரக்கனையும் ஆற்றல் அழித்த(வ்) அடி
the feet which destroyed the strength of the arakkaṉ.
முந்து ஆகி முன்னே முளைத்த(வ்) அடி
the feet were in existence before all things were created.
முழங்கு அழலாய் (1) நீண்ட எம்மூர்த்தி(ய்) அடி
the feet of our Civaṉ who rose tall as a column of fire making a loud noise.
பந்து ஆடும் மெல்விரலாள் பாகன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the Lord who has as a half a lady with soft fingers with which she plays the ball.
பவளத் தடவரையே போல்வான் அடி
the feet of the god who is as red as the big mountain of coral.
வெந்தார் சுடலை நீறு ஆடும்(ம்) அடி
the feet which bathe in the ash of the cremation ground in which all people are cremated.
வீரட்டம் காதல் விமலன்(ன்) அடி
the feet of the spotless god who is warmly attached to vīraṭṭam.
