விண்ட மாமலர் கொண்டு
taking big blossomed flowers.
விரைந்து நீர் (1) அண்ட நாயகர் தன் அடி சூழ்மின்கள்
go from left to right, to the feet of the master of the worlds hastening towards him.
வண்டு சேர் பொழில் வான்மியூர் ஈசன்(ஏ)
the Lord of the universe in Vāṉmiyūr which has gardens where bees swarm.
பண்டு நீர் செய்த பாவம் பறைந்திடும்
the sins committed by you in previous births will vanish gradually.

நீர் பொருளும் சுற்றமும் பொய்ம்மையும் விட்டு
by giving up wealth, relatives and falsehood as having any substance.
மருளும் மாந்தரை மாற்றி மயக்கு அறுத்து அருளுமா வல்ல ஆதியாய் என்றலும்
as soon as you say the first cause of all things who is able to grant me your grace completely destroying their illusion changing the delusion of those people.
வான்மியூர் ஈசன் மருள் அறுத்திடும்
the Lord in Vāṉmiyūr will completely remove your ignorance.

மந்தம் ஆகிய சிந்தை மயக்கு அறுத்து
cutting at the root of confusion in the mind which is slow in understanding.
அந்தம் இல் குணத்தானை அடைந்து நின்று
approaching Civaṉ who has countless attributes and standing in his presence.
எந்தை! ஈசன்! என்று ஏத்திட வல்லிரேல்
if you are able to praise him as `my father! Civaṉ'
வான்மியூர் ஈசன்(ஏ) வந்து நின்றிடும்
the Lord in vāṉmiyūr will will come and stand before you to grant his vision.

வெள்ளமும் அரவும் விரவும் சடை வள்ளல் ஆகிய வான்மியூர் ஈசனே
Civaṉ in vāṉmiyūr who has unbounded liberality and who has on his caṭai flood of Kaṅkai and a cobra joining together.
உள்ளம் உள் கலந்து ஏத்த வல்லார்க்கு அலால்
except for those who can praise him sincerely.
கள்ளம் உள்ளவழிக் கசிவான் அலன்
he will not bestow compassion on people who have deceitful thoughts.

படம் கொள் பாம்பரை
Civaṉ who wears cobras with hoods.
பால் மதி சூடியை
who wears a crescent as white as milk.
வடம் கொள் மென்முலை மாது ஒரு கூறனை
who has as one half a lady of soft breasts wearing strands of chains.
தொடர்ந்து நின்று தொழுது எழுவார் வினை மடங்க நின்றிடும் வான்மியூர் ஈசனே
Civaṉ in vāṉmiyur will diminish the acts of those who wake up worshipping with joined hands, thinking of him without break.

ஐவர்
the five sense organs
நெஞ்சில் நினைக்க நினைக்குறார்
will not allow you to think of the god when you try to think of him.
பஞ்சின் மெல் அடியாள் உமை பங்க என்று அஞ்சி
fearing out of respect Civaṉ saying, the Lord who has Umai whose feet are as soft as cotton, on one half!
நாள்மலர் தூவி அழுதிரேல்
if you weep out of joy scattering flowers blossomed at day-break.
வான்மியூர் ஈசன் வஞ்சம் தீர்த்திடும்
the Lord in vāṉmiyūr will remove the deceitful nature of the five sense-organs.

1. நுணங்கு நூல் அயன் மாலும் அறிகிலாக் குணங்கள் தாம் பரவிக் குறைந்து உக்கவர்
those who pine after Civaṉ having controlled their egoism and praise the qualities which Ayaṉ who has knowledge of the subtle vētams and Māl could not know.
சுணங்கு பூண் முலைத் தூமொழியார் அவர் 2. வணங்க நின்றிடும் வான்மியூர் ஈசனே
Civaṉ remains permanently in vāṉmiyūr, for the ladies who speak the fame of civan and who have breasts wearing ornaments and having yellow spreading spots considered as beautiful.

the first supreme being.
அரனாய் அயன் மாலுமாய்ப் பாதி பெண் உரு ஆய பரமன் என்று ஓதி
uttering the names of Civaṉ, as the supreme being superior to all, who is half female and who is himself araṉ, Ayaṉ and Māl.
உள் குழைந்து ஏத்த வல்லார் அவர்
those who can praise their hearts becoming tender and soft.
வாதை தீர்த்திடும் வான்மியூர் ஈசனே
Civaṉ in vāṉmiyūr will remove the suffering of birth.

ஓட்டை மாடத்தில் ஒன்பது வாசலும் காட்டில் வேவதன் முன்னம் கழல் அடி நாட்டி
fixing the feet wearing Kaḻal of Civaṉ in the heart before the nine apertunes in the body full of holes, are burnt in the cremation ground,

நாள் மலர் தூவி வலஞ்செயில் வான்மியூர் ஈசன் வாட்டம் தீர்த்திடும்
Civaṉ in vāṉmiyūr will remove our troubles, if we surround him spreading fresh flowers on him.

பாரமாக மலை எடுத்தான் தனைச் சீரமாகத் திருவிரல் ஊன்றினான்
Civaṉ fired his holy toe heavily to crush Irāvaṇaṉ who lifted the mountain as a heavy weight.
ஆர்வமாக அழைத்து ஆவன் ஏத்தலும் வான்மியூர் ஈசன் வாரம் ஆயினன்
called him with desire Civaṉ in Vāṉmiyūr became partial towards him when he uttered a loud cry and then praised Civaṉ.
