மரக் கொக்கு ஆம் என வாய்விட்டு அலறி
roaring like the cranes perched on the trees, raising your voices to a high pitch.
நீர்
you
சரக்குக் காவித் திரிந்து அயராது
without becoming wearied by carrying on your head loads of happiness and sufferings and wandering aimlessly
கால் பரக்கும் காவிரி நீர் அலைக்கும் கரைக் குரக்குக்கா அடைய
on reaching Kurakkukkā against whose banks the water of Kāviri which flows spreading through many channels, dashes.
குற்றம் கெடும்
all your faults will disappear

கட்டு ஆறே கழி காவிரி பாய் வயல் கொட்டு ஆறே புனல் ஊறு குரக்குக்கா முட்டாறா அடி ஏத்த முயல்பவர்க்கு
To those who try to praise the feet without fail in the shrine Kurakkukkā where water springs in the ways where the ground is dug with a spade and where the river Kāviri flows within the constructed banks.
இட்டாறா இடர் ஓட எடுக்குமே
God will bestow his grace for the sufferings to run away from his devotees according to their wish.

கை அனைத்தும் கலந்து 1. எழு காவிரி, செய் அனைத்திலும் சென்றிடும் செம்புனல்
the red coloured water with silt of the Kāviri which spreads on both sides and flows into the fields.
கொய் அனைத்தும் கொணரும் குரக்குக்கா ஐயனைத்தொழுவார்க்கு
to those who worship with joined hands the father in Kurakkukkā where the floods bring a kind of fish called, Koy.

புனல் கொய் அனைத்தும் கொணரும் is the syntactical link]]
அல்லல் இல்லை
there will be no afflictions

மிக்கு அனைத்துத் திசையும் அருவிகள் காவிரி புக்குப் போந்த புனற்கரை
on the bank of the Kāviri which has abundant water as it receives water from many streams from all directions.
கொக்கு இனம் பயில் சோலைக் குரக்குக்கா நக்கனை 1. நவில்வார் வினை நாசமே
the Karmams of those who praise Civaṉ in Kurakkukkā where in the gardens flocks of crane gather together, will get annihilated

வெள்ளம் விட்டு
with swollen floods.
விரிந்து எழு காவிரி இட்ட நீர் வயல் எங்கும் பரந்திட
the water of Kaviri which spreads everywhere, flows into the fields everywhere and spreads itself.
மா முழவு கொட்ட ஓங்கு குரக்குக்கா இட்டமாய் இருப்பார்ககு
to those who minds are attached to Kurukkukkā where the pitch of the sound of the big muḻavu increases when it is played
இடர் இல்லை
there will be no sufferings.

மேலை வானவரோடு
with the celestials who are in heaven
விரி கடல் மாலும் நான் முகனாலும் அளப்ப ஒணாக் கோல மாளிகைக் கோயில் குரக்குக்காப் பாலராய்த்திரிவார்க்கு
to those who wander by going to temple and worshipping Kuṟakkukkā which has a temple like a beautiful mansion, the god who dwells in it, could not be fathomed by Māl who is sleeping in the expansive ocean and by Piramaṉ of four faces.
பாவம் இல்லை
there will be no sins.

ஆல நீழல் அமர்ந்த அழகனார்
the beautiful god who sat under the shade of the banyan tree
காலனை உதை கொண்ட கருத்தனார்
who is in the minds of all, and kicked the Kālaṉ.
கோல மஞ்ஞைகள் ஆலும் குரக்குக்காப் பாலருக்குப் பரிவொடு அருள் செய்வர்
will grant his grace with mercy to those who have reached Kuṟakkukkā where beautiful peacocks dance.

செக்கர் அங்கு எழு செஞ்சுடர்ச் சோதியர்
God who spreads light like the bright light that appears on the red sky in the evening.
அக்கு அரையர்
who wears chank beads on his waist

our very old primordial god
கொக்கு இனம் வயல் சேரும் குரக்குக்கா நக்கனைத் தொழ நம் வினை நாசமே
our Karmams will be annihilated when we worship the nude god in Kurakkukkā where flocks of cranes gather in the fields.

உருகி ஊன் குழைந்து கரிய கண்டன் கழல் அடி தன்னையே ஏத்தி எழுமின்
you rise from sleep praising the feet of the god of black neck wearing anklets, with melting hearts and your bodies which have become tender

இரவும் எல்லியும் ஏத்தித் தொழுமின்
you worship with joined hands, night and day.
குரவனம் செழுங்கோயில் குரக்குக்கா
the temple, Kurakkukkā which has fertile gardens of bottle-flowers.

மலை எடுத்தான் முடி உரத்தை இரக்கம் இன்றி ஒல்க அடர்த்தான் உறைவிடம்
the dwelling place of the god who pressed down without pity to diminish the heads and strength of one who lifted the mountain
குரக்கு இனம் குதி கொளும் குரக்குக்கா வரத்தனைப் பெற வான் உலகு ஆள்வர்
those who receive boons granted by god in Kurakkukkā where groups of monkeys jump and leap!, will rule over heaven
