ஐயாறர்
Civaṉ in Aiyāṟu
சிந்தை வண்ணத்தராய்
being the nature of the minds of his devotees
திறம்பா வணம்
not to swerve from the right conduct
முந்தி வண்ணத்தராய்
having the nature which is foremost
முழு நீறு அணி சந்தி வண்ணத்தராய்
having the form of besmearing the whole of the body with holy ash, to those who meditate on him.
தழல் போல்வது ஓர் அந்தி வண்ணமும் ஆவர்
has also the colour of the evening sky and fire.
[[வண்ணமும் should be added with தழல் after போல்வது]]

மூல வண்ணத்தராய்
having the nature of being the source of all worlds.
முதலாகிய கோல வண்ணத்தராகி
having the beautiful nature of creating all the worlds absorbed in him
கொழுஞ்சுடர் நீல வண்ணத்தராகி
having Māl who has the colour of sapphire which is bright
நெடும் பளிங்கு ஆல வண்ணத்தர் ஆவர்
has the colour of poison in the white colour like the crystal quartz

சிந்தை வண்ணமும்
the nature of having as his place the minds of those who think of him.
தீயது ஓர் வண்ணமும்
the nature of being intensely angry
அந்திப் போது அழகு ஆகிய வண்ணமும்
beautiful colour of the evening.
பந்திக்காலனைப் பாய்ந்து ஓர் வண்ணமும்
the nature of pouncing upon and kicking kālaṉ (god of death) who came himself first and then followed by the he-buffalo and noose in an order.
அந்தி வண்ணமும்
and the colour of the beautiful fire

fire is one of his eight forms]]

the colour of darkness

the seven different notes of music.
சுருளின் வண்ணமும்
the nature of curly caṭai
சோதியின் வண்ணமும்
the nature of light
நான் முகன் மாலொடு மருளும் வண்ணமும்
the nature of the four-faced Piramaṉ along with Māl getting bewildered as they could not find him.
அருளும் வண்ணமும்
and the nature of granting his grace

இழுக்கின் ஆவர்
if one deviates from the right path and commits evil acts
வண்ணங்கள் ஆகிய வெவ்வழல் குழைக்கும் வண்ணங்கள் ஆகியும்
having the nature of making feeble the impurities of the soul like the hot fire, inflicting pain on him.
கூடியும்
being united with him.
மழைக்கண் மாமுகில் ஆகிய வண்ணமும்
the nature of being the big cloud that has rain in it.
அழைக்கும் வண்ணமும்
granting his grace inviting his devottees.

the beauty of the fundamental seven notes.

the beauty of being the light
கண்ட வண்ணங்களாய்
being the afore-said things that he created.
கனல் மாமணி அண்ட வண்ணமும்
the beauty of the ruby that is like fire, and the world.

the nature of being loved by all
வேதத்தின் வண்ணமும்
the nature of the vētams.
கரும்பின் 1. இன்மொழிக் காரிகை வண்ணமும்
the beauty of a lady whose words are as sweet as the juice of sugar-cane.
விரும்புவார் வினை தீர்த்திடும் வண்ணமும்
the nature of completely removing the Karmams of those who love him.

and the nature of buds

the nature of having the form of the fire that rises and destroys the world at the time of destruction
ஆழி வண்ணமும்
and the nature of being the ocean

the beauty of besmearing himself with the holy ash, as he appears to be performing yōkam
எய்த நோக்கு அரிது ஆகிய வண்ணமும்
the difficulty of looking at him carefully and adequately
கைது காட்சி அரியது ஓர் வண்ணமும்
the difficult nature of seeing him like a thing placed on the hand

and the subtle nature;

ஆவர்
will be
எடுத்தவாள் அரக்கன் திறல் வண்ணமும்
the strength of the arakkaṉ who had a sword and lifted the mountain, Kailacam
இடர்கள் போல் பெரிதாகிய வண்ணமும்
the nature making the mountain to be too big like the sufferings, to be lifted.
கடுத்த கைந்நரம்பால் இசை வண்ணமும்
seeing him singing song using the guts of his hands which are twenty in number
அடுத்த வண்ணமும்
and the nature of having bestowed his grace on him.
