கன்றினார் புரங்கள் மூன்றும் கனல் எரியாகச் சீறி நின்றது ஓர் உருவம் தன்னால் நீர்மையும் நிறையும் (1) கொண்டு
snatching away my nature and strength of will by a form which remained being angry and burning all the three cities of the acurar, hardened in doing cruel acts to become scorching fire.
ஒன்றி ஆங்கு உமையும் தாமும் ஊர்பலி தேர்ந்து பின்னும் பன்றிப்பின் வேடராகிப் பருப்பதம் நோக்கினாரே

Civaṉ of three eyes who received completely in a single catai the water of the Kankai, having granted many kinds of grace to those who seek his support.

இரவு நின்று எரி அது ஆடி கரவு இலா மனத்தர் ஆகிக் கை தொழுவார்கட்கு என்றும் இன்னருள் செய்யும் எந்தை
our father who dances at night in the fire, and grants his benign grace to those who have no deception in their minds and worship him with joined hands.
மருவலர் புரங்கள் மூன்றும் மாட்டிய (1) வரையர் ஆகி
having the ability to set fire to all the three cities of the enemies.
பரவுவார்க்கு அருள்கள் செய்து பருப்பதம் நோக்கினாரே

granting many kinds of grace in a different manner to those who have given up all desires

Umai and himself will wander throughout the world;

Civaṉ who dwells with desire in Ēkampam to be praised in the second and third persons by the celestials who do not wink.

without being harassed by the five organs of sense which have greatness and beautiful positions.
உங்கள் மால் தீர வேண்டில் உள்ளத்தால் உள்கி ஏத்தும்
(People of this world!) praise him thinking of him in your minds if you want the removal of your illusion

Civaṉ who has a neck which is made beautiful by consuming the poison that rose in the ocean.
சுடர்விடு மேனி தன் மேல் சுண்ண வெண்ணீறு பூசி
smearing the fine powder of sacred ash on the body that sheds lustre.
படர்சடை மதியம் சேர்த்திப் பருப்பதம் நோக்கினாரே
considered Paruppatam as his place having attached a crescent to his spreading caṭai.
