all the people of the big and wide world will bow before the lotus feet.
பாய் இருங்கங்கையாளைப் படர்சடை வைப்பர் (போலும்)
will place the big and rushing Kaṅkai in his spreading caṭai (கங்கையாள் as Kanka is feminine gender in sanskrit she is spoken thus)
காய் இரும்பொழில்கள் சூழ்ந்த கழுமல ஊரர்க்கு அம்பொன் ஆயிரம் கொடுப்பர் (போலும்) ஆவடு துறையனார்
the Lord in āvaṭutūṟai will give one thousand gold coins to Ñāṉacampantar, whose birth-place is Kaḻumalam surrounded by big gardens bearing fruits (all the போலும் is this decade are expletives)

is the youth in Kuṭantai (Kumpakōnam).

will cure disease that afflict people (this is an auto-biographical incident).
உறுதுணை ஆவர் (போலும்)
is the great companion.
செற்றவர் புரங்கள் மூன்றும் தீ எழச் செறுவர்
will destroy the three cities of the enemies and set them ablaze.
கற்றவர் பரவி ஏத்திக்கலந்து உலந்து அலந்து பாடும் அற்றவர்க்கு அன்பர் (போலும்)
loves those who surrendered themselves to him only, who are learned and who praise him in the 2nd person and 3rd person, their minds absorbed in him, who are become diminished and suffer.

has a trident whose ends are sharp.
என்பு கொண்டு அணிவர் (போலும்)
will adorn himself with bones.
தொழுது எழுந்து ஆடிப்பாடித்தோத்திரம் பலவும் சொல்லி அழுமவர்க்கு அன்பர் (போலும்)
loves those who weep out of joy saying many praises, sing, dance, worship and then rise from sleep.

smears his body with holy ash.
பொங்கு வெண் நூலர்(போலும்)
wears a shining sacred thread.

has a bull which walks fast.
காமனை காய்வர் (போலும்)
burnt Kāmaṉ.
வெடிபடு தலையர் (போலும்)
holds a skull that has many clefts;

will give a discus.

wears the skin of a tiger which pounces upon its prey.

wears a girdle of an ascetic which is generally a long strip of cloth.

is the worlds and the living being that dwell in them.
அடைபவர் இடர்கள் தீர்க்கும் ஆவடு துறையனார்
the Lord in āvaṭatuṟai, who removes the sufferings of those who seek him as refuge.

{$} முந்தி வானோர்கள் வந்து முறைமையால் வணங்கி ஏத்த நந்திமா காளர் என்பார் நடு உடையார்கள் நிற்ப
when those who are called Nanti and Mākāḷar stood firm in the right path without any harm and when the celestials came first and bowed and praised in the proper manner.
சிந்தியாதே ஒழித்தார் திரிபுரம் எரிப்பர் (போலும்) அந்திவான்மதியம் சூடும் ஆவடு துறையனார்
the Lord in Āvaṭutuṟai who has on his head the crescent that rises in the sky at sunset will burn the three cities of those who never thought of Civaṉ.
[[When the three cities were distroyed by Civaṉ, three acurar escaped destruction; these three were those who did not become inimical, succumbing to the wily teachings of Māl; of these three, two were appointed as guards of Kayilai; their names are Nanti and Mākāḷar.]]

assuming the form of a pig among the ten incarnations (பான் a poetic license which consists in the shortening of a word by one or more letters at the beginning as marai for tamarai; பான்-ஒருபான் meaning ten.)
பார் இடந்திட்ட மாலும்
Māl who went digging the earth.
தேன் அமர்ந்து ஏறும் அல்லித்திசைமுகம் உடைய கோவும்
and the chief who has four faces and is seated in the lotus which has abundant honey. (அல்லி-தாமரை)

has a white bull which belongs to the species of cow.

will grant his weapon pācupatam to pārttaṉ (aruccuraṉ)

ஏத்துவார் இடர்கள் தீர இன்பங்கள் கொடுப்பர் (போலும்)
will grant many kinds of happiness to remove the sufferings of those who praise him.
கூத்தராய்ப்பாடி ஆடி
being well-versed in dance, singing and dancing.
கொடுவலி அரக்கன் தன்னை ஆர்த்தவாய் அலறுவிப்பார்
will cause the mouth of the arakkaṉ of cruel might roaring already, to cry from sorrow.
