when I reached aiyāṟu without the slightest indication of the body having become worn out.
காதல் மடப் பிடியோடும் களிறுவருவன கண்டேன்

[[சுவடுபடாமல் This word hints about nāvukkaracar's journey to mount Kailācam in which he wore out his legs, hands and chest. As ordered by Civaṉ he dived into a tank near Kailācam and appeared in a tank in tiruvaiyāṟu, his body restored to its former state. All living beings in tiruvaiyāṟu appeared to him as cakti and civam. This decade describes that. AT the exact spot, ulōkamātevi, one of the queens of Rājarāja I built a temple to commemorate this event and it is how known as ulōkamateviccuram. I shall worship with joined hands, the eyes to derive pleasure, by scattering many just blossomed flowers in the ghat.

when I reach aiyāṟu where the young and beautiful indian cuckoo which can sing in a voice of high pitch, sings in a low voice.
சிறைஇளம் பேடையொடு ஆடிச்சேவல் வருவனகண்டேன்

I was coming crossing the forests in the country side a mountains worshipping with folded hands, dancing all the while.
ஆடல் அமர்ந்து உறைகின்ற ஐயாறு அடைகின்றபோது
when I was reaching aiyāṟu where Civaṉ dwells performing dance.
பேடைமயிலொடும் கூடிப்பிணைந்து கூடுவன கண்டேன்

உள்மெலிசிந்தையன் ஆகி
with a mind languishing with the thought of the holy feet.
உணரா உருகா வருவேன்
I was coming with awareness, my heart melting all the time.
அண்ணல் அமர்ந்து உறைகின்ற ஐயாறு அடைகின்ற போது
when I was reaching aiyāṟu where the chief dwells with desire.
வண்ணப்பகன்றிலொடு ஆடிவைகி வருவன கண்டேன்
I saw the female of beautiful pakaṉṟil playing and staying with its male, coming there.

வடிவொடு வண்ணம் இரண்டும் வாய் வேண்டுவ சொல்லி வருவேன்
I shall come giving vent to my desire by saying whatever comes from my mouth about both the form and nature of Civaṉ.
அடிஇணை ஆர்க்கும் கழலான் ஐயாறு அடைகின்றபோது
when I was reaching aiyāṟu of Civaṉ who wears anklets on both the legs making sound.
இடிகுரல் அன்னது ஓர் ஏனம் இசைந்து வருவன கண்டேன்

waking up from sleep in the last quarter of the night.
பெறுமலர் கொய்யா வருவேன்
I shall come currying plucking all available flowers at that time.
அருங்கலம் (1) பொன்மணி உந்தும் ஐயாறு அடைகின்றபோது
when I reach aiyāṟu where (the river Kāviri) pushes many rare ornaments, gold, and precious stones.
கருங்கலை பேடையொடு ஆடிக்கலந்து வருவன கண்டேன்
I saw male black and its mate joining together in dance.

பற்றிக்கயிறு அறுக்கில்லேன்
holding his feet, I am unable to cut all my attachments.
பாடியும் ஆடாவருவேன்
I shall come singing and dancing.
அற்று அருள்பெற்று நின்றாரோடு ஐயாறு அடைகின்றபோது
when I reached aiyāṟu along with the devotees who have received the grace of god by leaving all attachments.
நல்துணைப்பேடையொடு ஆடி நாரைவருவன கண்டேன்
I saw the crane dancing along with his its good mate.

I stand at the entrance in order to avail myself of a time that was not stolen by my impiety, to have a view of Civaṉ.
அளவு படாதது ஓர் அன்போடு ஐயாறு அடைகின்றபோது
when I reach aiyāṟu with a love that is boundless.
இளமணநாகுதழுவி ஏறுவருவன கண்டேன்
I saw many bulls embracing their young and sweet-smelling females.
