{$} முரசு அதிர்ந்து எழுதரு முதுகுன்றம் மேவிய பரசுஅமர் படையுடையீரே
Civaṉ who has a weapon of paracu and who is in Mutukuṉṟam where the drum muracu increases in sound by being beaten.
பரசு அமர் படை உடையீரே உமைப்பரவுவார் அரசர்கள் உலகில் ஆவாரே
those who praise will become Kings in this world

{$} மொய் குழலாளொடு முதுகுன்றம் மேவிய பை அரவம் (ம்) அசைத்தீரே
Civaṉ who tied a cobra with hold and who remains in Mutukuṉṟam with a lady of dense tresses of hair.
பை அரவம் அசைத்தீரே (1) உமைப்பாடுவார் நைவுஇலர் நாள்தொறும் நலமே
those who sing your praises will have no decrease in their prosperity but it will increase daily.

{$} முழவு அமர் பொழில் அணி முதுகுன்றம் மேவிய மழவிடை(அது) உடையீரே
Civaṉ who has a young bull and who dwells in Mutukuṉṟam which is beautiful by gardens, and where muḻavu is played.
மழவிடைஅது உடையீரே உமை வாழ்த்துவார் பழியொடு பகை இலர் (தாம், ஏ)
those who sing songs of benediction about you will not have any reproach and enmity.

Civaṉ who has a beautiful caṭai coiled into a crown and who is in Mutukuṉṟam beautified by gardens where fragrance stays.

those who praise you will have wealth and fame;

Civaṉ who pressed down the ten heads (of Irāvaṇaṉ) and who remains in superior Mutukuṉṟam which grants salvation.
பத்துமுடி அடர்த்தீரே உமைப்பாடுவார் சித்த நல்ல (வ்) அடியாரே
those who sing your praise are devotees who have good minds.

{$} முயன்றவர் அருள்பெறு முதுகுன்றம் மேவி அன்று இயன்றவர் அறிவு அரயீரே
Civaṉ who was difficult to be seen by the two Māl and Ayaṉ who tried to see your head and feet and who is in Mutukuṉṟam where those who performed penance received your grace.
இயன்றவர் அறிவு அறியீரே உமை ஏத்துவார் பயன்தலை நிற்பவர் (தாம், ஏ)
those who praise you will obtain benefits.

Civaṉ who destroyed the buddhists and the amaṇar who had religious regulations.
கட்டு அமண் (2) தேரைக்காய்ந்தீரே உமைக்கருதுவார் சிட்டர்கள் சீர்பெறுவாரே
those who meditate on you will receive the renown of people of right conduct.

{$} மூடியசோலைசூழ் முதுகுன்றத்து ஈசனை நாடிய ஞானசம்பந்தன்,
Ñāṉacampantaṉ who sought the grace of Civaṉ in Mutukuṉṟam surrounded by dense gardens covering it.
நாடிய ஞானசம்பந்தன செந்தமிழ் பாடிய அவர் பழிஇலரே
those who sang the refined Tamiḻ verses of Ñāṉacampantaṉ who sought the grace of Civaṉ, will have no reproach.
