{$} விண்ணவர் தொழுது எழு வெங்குரு மேவிய, சுண்ண வெண்பொடி அணிவீரே
Lord who adorn yourself with the sacred white ash which is like the scented powder, and who resides in Veṅkuru where the residents of the heaven worship and then wake up from sleep!
சுண்ண வெண்பொடி அணிவீர்

உம தொழுகழல் எண்ண வல்லார் இடர் இலர்
those who are able to meditate upon your feet deserving worship will not have any suffering.
[[உம = உம் + அ: அ: is the plural suffix of the genitive case as கழல் denotes two feet.]]

{$} வேதியர் தொழுது எழு வெங்குரு மேவிய, ஆதிய அருமறையீரே
oh! God who is the meaning of the preeminent and abstruse vetam and who is residing in veṅkuru where brahmins worship and then wake up from sleep!

உமை அலர்கொடு ஓதியர் உணர்வுடையோரே
they are the people who are endowed with wisdom, who praise you worshipping you with flowers.

{$} விளங்கு தண் பொழில் அணி வெங்குரு மேவிய, இளம் பிறை அணி சடையீரே
Lord who adorn yourself with a tender crescent moon and who resides in veṅkuru which is made beautiful by cool and thriving parks!
இளம் பிறை அணி சடையீர்

உமது இணை அடி உளம் கொள உறுபிணி இலரே
those who fix your two feet in their minds will not have numerous diseases.

{$} விண்டு அலர் பொழில் அணி வெங்குரு மேவிய, வண்டு அமர் வளர் சடையீரே
Lord who has lengthening caṭai, on which bees settle and who dwells in veṅkuru which has parks of blossomed flowers!

உமை வாழ்த்தும் அத்தொண்டர்கள் துயர் பிணி இலர்
those famous devotees who praise you will not have mental afflictions and physical diseases

{$} மிக்கவர் தொழு தெழு வெங்குரு மேவிய, அக்கினொடு அரவு அசைத்தீரே
Lord who fastened cobras along with conch-beads and dwells in veṅkuru which the great persons worship and then rise from sleep!

உமது அடியிணை தக்கவர் உறுவது தவமே
The fruit of penance of virtuous persons is to reach your feet

{$} வெந்த வெண்பொடி அணி வெங்குரு மேவிய, அந்தம் இல் பெருமையினீரே
Lord who is great does not know end, who dwells in veṅkuru, and who smears himself with well burnt white sacred ash!

உமை அலர் கொடு சிந்தை செய்வார் வினை சிதைவே
the sins of those who meditate on you scattering flowers, will be destroyed.

{$} விழ மல்கு பொழில் அணி வெங்குரு மேவிய, அழல் மல்கும் அங்கையினீரே
Lord who has fire in your palm and dwells in veṅkuru made beautiful by festivals conducted in parks!
அழல் மல்குல் அங்கையினீர்

உமை அலர் கொடு தொழ அல்லல் கெடுவது துணிவே
It is beyond doubt that the sufferings will be destroyed when devotes worship you with flowers

{$} வித்தகம் மறையவர் வெங்குரு மேவிய, மத்த நன்மலர் புனைவீரே
Lord who wears good dhatura flowers and dwells in veṅkuru which is full of skilful brahmins!
மத்த நன் மலர் புனைவீர்

உமது அடிதொழும் சித்தம் (அது) உடையவர் திருவே
those who have the mind to worship your feet will obtain the wealth of eternal bliss.

{$} மேலவர் தொழுது எழு வெங்குரு மேவிய, ஆல நன் மணி மிடற்றீரே
Lord who has a neck in which there is poison and therefore is like a flawless sapphire and who dwells in veṅkuru which wise men worship and then get up from sleep!

உமது அடி தொழும் சீலம் (அது) உடையவர் திருவே
Those who have the good conduct of worshipping your feet will obtain eternal bliss.

{$} விரைமல்கு பொழில் அணி வெங்குரு மேவிய, அரை மல்கு புலி அதளீரே
Lord who has fastened a tiger's skin in your waist and dwells in veṅkuru beautiful in having parks of abundant fragrance.

the greatness of those famous devotees who praise your feet is [the] only true greatness.
