{$} தளிர் இள வளர் ஒளி தனது எழில் தரு திகழ் மலைமகள் குளிர் இள வளர் ஒளி வன முலை இணை (அவை) குலவலின்
as the (songs) are intimately connected with the two beautiful, cool, tender and growing lustre of the twin breasts of the daughter of the mountain, whose beauty is like the tender brightness of the growing leaves.
நளிர் இள வளர் ஒளி மருவு நள்ளாறர் தம் நாமமே மிளிர் இள வளர் எரியிடில் இவை பழுது இலையே
and as these contain the names of the god in naḷḷāṟu, if they are consigned into the fire which is bright like her body, they will suffer no damage.
மெய்மையே

{$} போது அமர் தரு புரிகுழல் எழில் மலைமகள் பூண் அணி, சீதம் (அது) அணி தரு முகிழ் இள வனமுலை செறிதலின்
as the songs are connected with the young, beautiful and bud-like breasts of the beautiful daughter of the mountain who has curly tresses of hair in which flowers are inserted,
நாதம் அது எழில் உரு நள்ளாற்ர்தம் நாமமே
and they contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷaṟu who took the body of beautiful nāta tattuvam.
மீதமது எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுதிலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if they are consigned into fire which is superior and one of the eight forms of Civaṉ, they will suffer no damage; it is truth.

{$} இட்டுறு மணி அணி இணர் புணர் வளர் ஒளி எழில் வடம் கட்டுறு கதிர் இளவளம் முலை இணையொடு கலவலின்
as these verses are connected with the two tender and beautiful breasts which are adorned with elegant strand of increasing lustre in which are set rows of precious stones like bunches of flowers.
நட்டு உறு செறிவயல் மருவு நள்ளாறர்தம் நாமமே
and these contain the names of the god in naḷḷāṟu where there are fields in which crops are planted and are close to each other.
இட்டு உறும் எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if these are consigned into the small fire they will suffer no damage; it is truth.

{$} மைச்சு அணி வரி அரி நயனி தொல் மலைமகள் பயன் உறு கச்சு அணி கதிர் இளவனமுலையவையொடு கலவலின்
as these verses are connected with the tender, beautiful and bright breasts which were a bodice, which gives knowledge which is not divine wisdom and knowledge of god, of the daughter of the ancient mountain, who has eyes with rows of lives and coated with collyrium.
(மைச்சு-மைத்து; மையையுடையதாகி)
நச்சு அணி மிடறு உடை அடிகள் நள்ளாறர்தம் நாமமே
and they contain the names of the god in naḷḷāṟu who has a neck made beautiful by the poison.
மெச்சு அணி எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if these are consigned into the fire which has wonderful beauty will not suffer any damage; it is truth.

{$} பண் இயல் மலைமகள் கதிர் விடு பருமணி அணி நிறக் கண் இயல் கலசம் (அது) அனமுலை இணையொடு கலவலின்
as these songs are connected with the two bright beautiful breasts which are like pots and wear ornaments with big precious stones which emit rays, belonging to the daughter of the mountain and which are well decorated.
நண்ணிய குளிர் புனல் புகுதும் நள்ளாறர்தம் நாமமே
they contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷāṟu where cool water enters.
விண் இயல் எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if these are consigned into the fire which rises high to touch the sky these will not suffer any damage; it is truth.

{$} போது உறு புரிகுழல் மலைமகள் இளவளர் பொன் அணி சூதுறு தளிர் நிற வனமுலையவையொடு துதைதலின்
these songs are closely connected with the tender growing and beautiful breasts which have the colour of tender leaves and are like conical pieces in dice-play and wear gold ornaments, of the daughter of the mountain who has curly tresses of hair in which are inserted flowers.
தாது உறு நிறம் உடை அடிகள் நள்ளாறர்தம் நாமமே
and these contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷāṟu who has the colour of gold.
மீது உறும் எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
these suffer no damage if these are consigned into the fire which rises high; it is truth.

{$} கார் மலி நெறிபுரி சுரி குழல் மலைமகள் கவின் உறு சீர் மலி தரு மணி அணி முலை திகழ்வொடு செறிதலின்
these songs are closely connected with the breasts which wear ornaments set with famous precious stones, of the daughter of the mountain who has tresses of hair as black as the sable cloud, and wavy and curly and tied into a knot.
தார் மலி நகுதலை உடைய நள்ளாறர் தம் நாமமே
and they contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷāṟu who wears a garland of laughing skulls.
ஏர் மலி எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if these are consigned into the rising fire they will not suffer any damage; it is truth.

{$} மன்னியவளர் ஒளி மலைமகள் தளிர் நிறம் மதம் மிகு பொன் இயல் மணி அணி கலசம் (அது) அனமுலை புணர்தலின்
these songs are connected the breasts which are like pots and wear ornaments made of gold set with precious stones and smeared with musk, has the colour of tender leaves, of the daughter of the mountain which has permanent and increasing brightness.
தன் இயல் தசமுகன் நெரிய நள்ளாறர்தம் நாமமே
these contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷāṟu who pressed down to crush irāvāṇaṉ of ten faces who can be compared to himself in committing cruel acts.
மன்னியல் எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை மெய்ம்மை
if these are consigned into the five which is like lightning, these will not suffer any any damage; it is truth.

{$} கான் முகம் மயில் இயல் மலைமகள் கதிர்விடு கனம் மிகு பால் முகம் இயல் பணை இணைமுலை துணையொடு பயிறலின்
these songs are connected with the two breasts which can be only compared to each other and has heaviness and emit brilliance and swelling in size and has lactation, of the daughter of the mountain, who has the gracefulness of the peacock of the forest.
நான் முகன் அரி அறிவு அரிய கள்ளாறர் தம் நாமமே
and these contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷāṟu who could not be known by Piramaṉ and ari (Māl).
மேன் முக எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if these are consigned into the fire which has the nature of rising up they will suffer no damage, it is truth.

{$} அத்திரநயனி தொல் மலைமகள் பயன் உறும் அதிசயச் சித்திரமணி அணிதிகழ் முலை இணையொடு செறிதலின்
these songs are closely connected with the two breasts which were different and wonderful, precious stones and have lactation of the daughter of the ancient mountain and whose eyes are like the arrow.
புத்தரொடு அமணர் பொய் பெயரும் நள்ளாறர்தம் நாமமே
and these contain the names of Civaṉ in naḷḷāṟu who is far removed from the lies of buddhists and Camaṇar.
மெய்த்திரள் எரியினில் இடில் இவை பழுது இலை; மெய்ம்மையே
if these are consigned into the ball of fire these will not suffer any damage; it is truth.

{$} கொற்றவன் எதிரிடை எரியினில் இட அவை கூறிய, சிற்றிடை அரிவைதன் வனமுலை இணையொடு செறிதரும் நல்திறம் உறு கழுமல நகர் ஞானசம்பந்தன சொல் தெரி ஒருபதும் அறிபவர் துயர் இலர் தூயரே
the songs were composed in the immediate presence of the King to be placed in the fire, by ñāṉacampantaṉ who had connection with the two breasts of the lady who has a small waist, and who is a native of the city of Kaḻumalam which has good histroy; those who are able to understand the meanings of the ten verses have no sufferings; are pure souls.
