{$} கார் அணவும் மணிமாடம் கடைநவின்ற கலிக்கச்சி
in Kacci which has sound that is produced at the end of the world and has beautiful storeys near which the clouds come close.
நீர் அணவும் மலர்ப் பொய்கை நெறிக் காரைக்காட்டாரே
Civaṉ in neṟikkāraikkāṭu which has natural tanks full of water in which there are flowers.
வார் அணவும் முலைமங்கை பங்கினராய்
having on one half a young lady on whose breasts the bodice adheres.
அங்கையினில் போர் அணவும் மழுஒன்று (அங்கு) ஏந்தி
holding in the opalm a battle-axe fix for warfare
வெண்பொடி அணிவர்
will adorn himself with white sacred ash.

{$} தேர் ஊரும் நெடு வீதிச் செழுங்கச்சி மாநகர் வாய்
in the great and fertile city of Kacci in whose streets cars move slowly.
நீர் ஊரும் மலர்ப் பொய்கை நெறிக் காரைக்காட்டாரே
Civaṉ in neṟikkāraikkātu which has natural tanks having flowers, in which water spreads.
கார் ஊரும் 1. மணிமிடற்றார்
has a beautiful neck which is like the sable cloud;

கொடி இடையைக் கூறு அணிந்தார்
had Umai who has a waist like the creeper, as one half.
குளிர் சடைமேல் இளமதியோடு ஆறு அணிந்தார்
wore on the cool catai a crescent, with a river.
ஆடு அரவம் பூண்டு உகந்தார்
become eminent by adorning himself with dancing cobras.
வெள்ளை ஆன் ஏறு அணிந்தார் கொடியதன்மேல்
adorned his flag with the form of a bull.
வரை மார்பில் என்பு அணிந்தார் நீறு அணிந்தார்
wore as ornaments on his chest which is like the mountain, bones and sacred ash.

{$} பிறை நவின்ற செஞ்சடைகள் பின் தாழ
the caṭai on which the crescent stays to hang on the nape.
பூதங்கள் மறை நவின்று பாடலொடு ஆடலராய்
dancing along with the pūtaṅkaḷ which sings vētam-s.
மழு எந்தி
holding a battle-axe.
சிறை நவின்ற வண்டினங்கள் தீங்கனிவாய்த் தேன் கதுவும் நிறை நவின்ற கலிக்கச்சி நெறிக்காரைக்காட்டாரே
Civaṉ in neṟikkāraikkaṭu situated in Kacci of bustle which fill the city, the swarms of bees get disgusted with the honey in the flowers and lay hold of the honey dripping from the sweet fruits.

{$} அன்று ஆலின் கீழ் இருந்து அங்கு அறம் 1. உரைத்த அருளாளர்
the god who is full of grace and gave moral instruction long ago, sitting under a banyan tree.
குன்றாத வெஞ்சிலையில் கோள் அரவ நாண் கொளுவி
fixing the bow-string of a killing cobra in a bow which does not descrease in its cruelty.
ஒன்றாதார் புரம் மூன்றும் ஓங்கு எரியில் வெந்து அவிய நன்றாரும்
the Lord who remained being unmoved at the sight of all the three cities of the enemies were by destroyed by being burnt.

the spotless god who destroyed by discharging an arrow in an instant which is the time measure of the finger, all the three cities of the strong avuṇar who had no good nature.

the Lord who has a bull and a catai which bears a cruel cobra that lives in the anthill, beautifying koṉṟai flowers, datura flowers, water which is movign and never ceases from dashing, and a crescent

Civaṉ has a nature of fixing his small toe in the beautiful mountain on the King of beautiful ilaṅkai surrounded by the surging ocean;

will receive alms in the broken skull.
மாண்டார்தம் எலும்பு அணிவர்
will adorn as ornament to the bones of dead persons.
வரி அரவோடு எழில் ஆமை பூண்டாரும்
the god who wore as ornament a beautiful shell of a tortoise along with a cobra with lines on it.
ஓர் இருவர் அறியாமைப் பொங்கு எரியாய் நீண்டாரும்
and who shot up high as a rising column of fire, so that the two, Māl and Ayaṉ could not know him.

{$} குண்டு ஆடிச் சமண்படுவார் கூறைதனை மெய்போர்த்து மிண்டாடித் திரிதருவார் உரைப்பனகள் மெய் அல்ல
the words spoken by camaṇar who are low in character and buddhists who wander doing mischief, and covering their bodies with an upper cloth, do not contain any truth.
வண்டு ஆரும் குழலாளை வரை ஆகத்து ஒரு பாகம் கண்டாரும்
the Lord who placed on one half of his body which is like a mountain a lady on whose tresses of hair bees hum loudly

singing songs of benediction at the feet of the Lord who has on his holy body a lady and who dwells in neṟikkāraikkātu of Kacci of great bustle pleasing to the eye.
தண் ஆரும் பொழிற் காழித் தமிழ் ஞானசம்பந்தன் பண் ஆரும் தமிழ் வல்லார் பரலோகத்து இருப்பாரே
those who are able to recite the tamiḻ verses combined with melody-types composed by ñāṉacampantaṉ well-versed in tamiḻ who is a native of Kāḻi which has cool gardens, will remain in the superior world of Civalokam.
