{$} கரு ஆர் கச்சித் திருவேகம்பத்து ஒருவா என்ன
if one praises Civaṉ as the unequalled Lord in Tiruvēkampam, in Kacci which is the embryo for all things.
வினையே மருவா
the acts will not come near him.

{$} மதி ஆர் கச்சி நதி ஏகம்பம் விதியால் ஏத்தப் பதி ஆவாரே
if people praise Ēkampam on the bank of the river, Kampai in Kacci of high esteem according to rules they will become masters

{$} கலி ஆர் கச்சி மலி ஏகம்பம் 1. பலியால் போற்ற நலியா வினையே
the acts will not inflict sufferings if one worships with the things mentioned for worship, ēkampam which is full of all things in Kacci of great bustle.

{$} வரம் ஆர் கச்சிப் புரம் ஏகம்பம், பரவா ஏத்த விரவா வினையே
acts will not mingle with us if we praise in the second persons and third person ēkampam in the city of eminent Kacci.

{$} படம் ஆர் கச்சி இடம் ஏகம்பத்து, உடையாய் என்ன அடையா வினையே
acts good and bad will not reach us if we praise the Lord who has as his shrine ēkampam in Kacci which has flags on the storeys.

{$} நலம் ஆர் கச்சி நிலவு ஏகம்பம், குலவா ஏத்தக் கலவா வினையே
acts, good and bad, will not mix with us if we praise rejoicingly ēkampam which is permanent in Kacci which is full of good things.

பெரிய புரம் மூன்று எரிசெய்தானே
burnt the three big cities.

{$} இலங்கை அரசைத் துலங்க ஊன்றும் நலம் கொள் கம்பன் இலங்கு சரணே
the shining feet of Kampaṉ which have beauty, pressed firmly the King of ilaṅkai to be agitated

{$} மறையோன் அரியும் அறியா அனலன் நெறி ஏகம்பம் குறியால் தொழுமே
(People of this world!) worship with intention ēkampam which shows the right path, of the god who rose as a cloumn of fire which could not be known by Piramaṉ who had knowledge of the vētams and ari (Māl)

{$} பறியாத் தேரர் நெறிஇல் கச்சிச் செறிகொள் கம்பம் குறுகுவோமே
we shall go near Kampam packed with all good things, in Kacci which does not follow the path of the tērar (buddhists) who do not pluck their hairs on their heads (and amanar)

{$} கொச்சை வேந்தன், கச்சிக் கம்பம் மெச்சும் சொல்லை நச்சும் புகழே
fame will desire of its accords people who recite the words of the chief of Kacci and who praise Kampam in Kacci.
