{$} சந்தம் ஆர் அகிலொடு சாதி தேக்க(ம்) மரம் உந்து மா முகலியின் கரையினில்
on the bank of the great mukali which pushes in its course sandal wood, common mountain ebony, nut-meg trees and teak.
மந்தம் ஆர் பொழில் வளர் மல்கு வண் காளத்தி உமையொடும் எந்தையார் இணைஅடி என் மனத்து உள்ள(ஏ)
the twin feet of our father who dwells along with Umai in Kāḷatti of prosperity where gardens grow fertile and in which the southern breeze stays.

{$} ஆலம், மா, மரவமொடு அமைந்த சீர்ச் சந்தனம் சாலம் மாபீலியும் சண்பகம் உந்தியே காலம் ஆர் முகலி வந்து அணைதரு காளத்தி நீலம் ஆர்கண்டனை நினையுமா நினைவதே
it is our duty to think of Civaṉ who has a blue neck and who is in Kāḷatti on the bank of the mukali which reaches it coming with seasonal floods pushing champak trees peacocks feathers sāl, sandal wood with fitting greatness, common Kadamba mango trees and banyan trees, in the proper manner laid down in ākamams.

{$} கோங்கமே குரவமே கொன்றை அம்பாதிரி மூங்கில் வந்து அணைதரு முகலியின் கரையினில் ஆங்கு அமர் காளத்தி அடிகளை அடிதொழ
to worship the feet of the god in Kāḷatti which is situated on the bank of the mukali, where the malabar iron wood tree, bottle-flowered trees, koṉṟai tree, yellow-flowered fragrant trumpet flower trees are deposited.
வீங்கு வெந்துயர் கெடும் வீடு எளிது ஆகுமே
increasing cruel sufferings will perish; attainment of salvation in easy.

{$} தேன் கரும்பு கட்டியும் கதலியின் கனிகளும் அரும்பும் நீர் முகலியின் கரையினில்
on the bank of the river mukali in whose water honey, sugar-cane jaggery and plaintain fruits appear.

those who cherish with love the unequalled god in Kāḷatti who has a long caṭai, to which the beautiful crescent is attached.
விண் உலகு ஆள்வரே
will rule over heaven.

on the bank of the mukali which pushes by its waves, eagle-wood tree produced in the mountain, and big pearls.
தேமலர் விரைதரு சடைமுடிக் காளத்தி விண்ணவன் நிரை தரு கழல் இணை நித்தலும் நினைமினே
(People of this world!) meditate daily on the twin feet which are regular, of the god in Kāḷatti, who has a caṭai coiled into a crown and which spreads the fragrance of flowers with honey.

கத்திட அரக்கனைக் கால்விரல் ஊன்றிய அத்தன்தன் காளத்தி அணைவது கருமமே
approaching Kāḷati of the master who fixed his toe to make the arakkan cry alound, is a specific religious duty.

(People of this world!) save yourselves by approaching Kāḷatti of the chief whom Piramaṉ who is seated in a big colourful flower, and mālavaṉ were incapable of seeing, which shrine has many good things.

the unequalled one among gods will remove all good and bad acts.

about Civaṉ who has a long caṭai tied into a round circle and who is a Kālaṭṭi where the eight kinds of miraculous powers come to one of their own accord.

சிட்டம் நான் மறை வல ஞானசம்பந்தன் சொல் இட்டமாப் பாடுவார்க்கு இல்லை (ஆம்) பாவமே
there will be no sins to those who sing with eagerness the words of ñāṉacampantaṉ who is well-versed in the eminent four vetams.
