{$} மந்திர மறையவை வானவரோடும் இந்திரன் வழிபட நின்ற எம் இறை
our Lord who was worshipped by Intiraṉ along with the inhabitants of heaven and many maṟai-s which contain mantiram

வெந்த வெண்ணீற்றர்
the Lord who smears himself with well-burnt white ash.
வெண்காடு மேவிய, அந்தமும் முதல் (உம்) உடையா அடிகள் அல்லரே
is he not the deity who is in Veṇkāṭu and who is the end and beginning of all things?
[[மேவிய : the adjectival participle qualifies அடிகள்; in the following verses Nos 2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8 the same rule will apply]]

{$} படை உடை மழுவினர்
the Lord has a battle-axe as his weapon.
பாய் புலித் தோலின் உடை விரி கோவணம் உகந்த கொள்கையர்
he is pleased to wear a broad loin cloth upon the pouncing tiger's skin
[[பாய் புலி: The epithet பாய் has been given to it when it was alive.]]
விடையுடைக் கொடியர்
has a banner on which a bull is written
வெண்காடு மேவிய, சடையிடைப் புனல் வைத்த, சதுரர் அல்லரே
is he not an able person who is in Veṇkatu and placed the water (of the Kaṇkai) in his matted locks of hair?
[[Water has the nature of flowing downwards; God controlled it and arrested it from flowing down; so he is called an able person.]]

{3:15}__3+
{$} பாலொடு நெய் தயிர் பலவும் ஆடுவர்
the god will bathe in milk, ghee, curd and many other things.
தோலொடு நூலிழை துதைந்த மார்பினர்
has on his chest a skin and sacred thread close to each other.
மேலவர் பரவு வெண்காடு மேவிய ஆலம் (அது) அமர்ந்த எம் அடிகள் அல்லரே
is he not the deity who is veṇtaku praised by great persons, who sits under the banyan tree (ஆலம் அமர்ந்த அடிகள் one who drank the poison willingly is another meaning)

{$} ஞாழலும் செருந்தியும் நறு மலர்ப் புன்னையும் தாழை வெண் குருகு அயல் தயங்கு கானலில்
in the sea-shore garden where naḻal (Feted cassia); புலிநகக் கொன்றை
koṉṟai flower whose stamens resemble tiger's claws) carunti, the fragrant flowers of puṉṉai (mast-wood tree) are shining by the side of the flowers of fragrant screw-pine which look like white cranes

வேழம் (அது) உரித்த (இறைவர்)
the Lord who flayed the elephant.
வெண்காடு மேவிய (இறைவர்)
and who is in veṇkatu.
யாழினது இசையுடை இறைவர்
is he not the Lord who hears the music of yāḻ?
(கானலில் (உள்ள) வெண்காடு, உரித்த, மேவிய, உடை(ய) இறைவர்/).

{$} பூதங்கள் பல உடைப் புனிதர்
the holy person who has demons as his army.
புண்ணியர்
the embodiment of all virtuous acts.
ஏதங்கள் பல இடர் தீர்க்கும் எம் இறை
our Lord who removes blemishes and many sufferings (of devotees)
வேதங்கள் முதல்வர்
is the eminent person spoken by the vētams. (the origin of the vētams).
வெண்காடு மேவிய (பரமர்)
the supreme being who is in veṇkātu.
பாதங்கள் தொழ நின்ற பரமர் அல்லரே
is he not the supreme being whose feet are worshipped (by devotees)?
{3:15}__6+
{$} மண்ணவர் விண்ணவர் வணங்க
when the people of this earth and residents of heaven worship (him).
வைகலும் எண்ணிய தேவர்கள் இறைஞ்சும் எம் இறை
our supreme god who is worshipped by other tēvars for their own benefit, daily.
விண் அமர் பொழில் கொள் வெண்காடு மேவிய அண்ணலை அடி தொழ அல்லல் இல்லை
there will be no distress if one worships the feet of the eminent god who is veṇkāṭu which has gardens so high as to touch the sky

{$} நயந்தவர்க்குப் பல அருள் நல்கி
Having bestowed grace in many ways on loving devotees.
இந்திரன் கயந்திரம் வழிபட நின்ற கண்ணுதல்
the god who has an eye on the forehead and who was worshipped by intiraṉ and the eminent elephant (airātavam) (கண்ணுதல் = கண் + நுதல் (கயந்திரம் - கயேந்திரம் கஜேந்திரம்))
வியந்தவர் பரவு வெண்காடு மேவிய (பரமர்)
the supreme god in veṇkātu which is praised by devotees who are admired by other people.
பயம் தரு மழுவுடைப் பரமர் அல்லரே
is he not the supreme god who has a battle-axe that strikes fear?
{3:15}__8+
{$} மலை உடன் எடுத்த வல் அரக்கன் நீள் முடி தலையுடன் நெரித்து அருள் செய்த சங்கரர்
the god who has the name of cankarar who bestowed his grace after crushing the ten heads of arakkaṉ (iravaṇaṉ) together with their crowns, who immediately lifted the mountain. (iravaṇaṉ lifted mount Kailācam as soon as his plane, pushpakam, could not fly over it.
விலை உடை நீற்றர்
Has sacred ash which has a high price.
வெண்காடு மேவிய (அடிகள்)
the deity who is in veṇkātu.
அலையுடைப் புனல் வைத்த அடிகள் அல்லரே
is he not the deity whobore on his head the water having waves?

{$} ஏடு அவிழ் நறுமலர் அயனும் மாலு மாய்
Māl and Ayaṉ who is seated in the fragrant (lotus) flower of opened petals, joining together.
தெரிந்தவர் தேடவும் தேரகிற்கிலார்
though both had the power of perception and searched for his head and feet, were not capable of finding them.
வேடம் (அது) உடைய வெண்காடு மேவிய (அடிகள்)
the deity who has several forms.
ஆடலை அமர்ந்த எம் அடிகள் அல்லரே
is he not our god who was glad to dance?
{3:15}__10+
{$} போதியர் பிண்டியர் பொருத்தம் இல்லிகள்
the buddhists and jains who have no propriety.
நீதிகள் சொல்லியும் நினையகிற்கிலார்
though they are told about the greatness of Caivam and other moral codes they are not able to ponder over them.
வேதியர் பரவு வெண்காடு மேவிய ஆதியை அடிதொழ அல்லல் இல்லை
there will no suffering if one worships feet of the supreme being who is veṇkātu where the people well-versed in vētam, praise him.
{3:15}__11+
{$} செல்வன் எம் சிவன் உறை திருவெண்காட்டின்மேல்
on tiruveṇkātu where our Lord Civaṉ resides.
நல்லவர் புகலியுள் ஞானசம்பந்தன் சொல்லிய அருந் தமிழ் பத்தும் வல்லவர்
those who are able to recite all the rare ten tamiḻ songs which were composed by ñāṉacampantaṉ born in pukali which has good people.
அல்லலோடு அருவினை அறுதல் ஆணையே
it is our authority for the complete destruction of sufferings and acts which cannot be easily overcome.
