{$} கொட்டமே கமழும் கொள்ளம்பூதூர் நட்டம் ஆடிய நம்பனை உள்க
to meditate upon Civaṉ who danced in Koḷḷampūtūr where the costus root spreads its fragrance.
சிந்தையார் தொழ நல்குமாறு அருள் நம்பனே
Civaṉ capable of granting us your grace as we worship you in our minds!
செல்ல உந்துக
Let this boat be propelled to reach the opposite bank to enable us to worship him in person also

{$} கோட்டக்கழனிக் கொள்ளம்பூதூர் நாட்டகத்துறை நம்பனை உள்க
as we think of Civaṉ who dwells in the country in which Koḷḷampūtūr is situated which has fields with crops adjoining tanks.

{$} குலையின் ஆர் தெங்கு சூழ் கொள்ளம் பூதூர் விலையில் ஆட்கொண்ட விகிர்தனை உள்க
as we think of the god who is different from this world and who admitted us as his protege as if he bought us by paying the price, and who is in Koḷḷampūtūr surrounded by cocoanut trees having clusters of fruits.

as we think of the master who smears himself with white sacred ash and who is in Koḷḷampūtūr where blue nelumbo flowers blossom like the eyes.

as we think of the spotless god who has a ruddy caṭai and who is permanent in Koḷḷampūtūr where the koṉṟai trees shed flowers like gold.

as we think of the god who is desiro us of dancing and who is in Koḷḷampūtūr where the boat reaches the opposite bank by being propelled.

ஆறுவந்து அணையும் கொள்ளம் பூதூர் ஏறுதாங்கிய இறைவனை உள்கச் செல்ல உந்துக
Let the boat be propelled to reach the opposite bank to enable us to worship in person also the god in Koḷḷampūtūr, who is borne by a bull and who in Koḷḷampūtūr where the river, muḷḷi, comes and approaches the shrine.

குரக்கு இனம் பயிலும் கொள்ளம் பூதூர் அரக்கனைச் செற்ற ஆதியை உள்க
as we think of the cause of all things who destroyed the strength of the arakkaṉ and who is in Koḷḷampūtūr where groups of monkeys are crowded.

as we think of the feet of Civaṉ who could not be known by both Māl and Piramaṉ and who dwells in Koḷḷampūtūr where big murrel fish frisk.

நீரகக் கழனிக் கொள்ளம் பூதூர்த் தேர் அமண் செற்ற செல்வனை உள்க
as we think of the god who destroyed the tēras (buddhists) and amaṇ (amaṇar) and who dwells in Kollampūtūr which has fields full of water.

{$} கொன்றைசேர் சடையான் கொள்ளம் பூதூர் நன்று காழியுள் ஞானசம்பந்தன் இன்று சொல் மாலை கொண்டு ஏத்த வல்லார்
those who are able to praise Civaṉ in Koḷḷampūtūr, who adorns his caṭai with koṉṟai flowers, with the garlands of verses composed today by ñāṉacampantaṉ of Kāḻi which has many goodthings.
போய்
entering into heaven after leaving this world.
என்றும் வானவரோடு இருப்பார் (ஏ)
will live along with the celestials always.
