Civaṉ who has a lady whose shoulders resemble green bamboo, on one half

விடம் உண்ட கண்டன்
has a neck that consumed the poison.
மிகநல்ல வீணை தடவி
playing on an excellent vīṇai without defects.
மாசு அறு திங்கள் கங்கை முடிமேல் அணிந்து
adorning his head with a spotless crescent and Kankai
என் உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
on account of the fact that he entered into my mind.
ஞாயிறு, திங்கள், செவ்வாய், புதன், வியாழம், வெள்ளி, சனி, பாம்பு இரண்டும்
the sun, the moon, the mars, the mercury, the jupiter, the venus, the saturn, the rāku and Kētu which are in the form of snakes all making up nine planets.
ஆசு அறு நல்ல நல்ல
will do good without any defect
அடியார் அவர்க்கு மிக நல்ல நல்ல
they are exceedingly beneficial to devotees.

{$} என்பொடு கொம்பு ஒடு ஆமை இவை மார்பு இலங்க
ornaments such as bones, hog's tusk, and the sheel of a tortoise to shine in the chest.
ஏழையுடனே எருது ஏறி
riding on a bull, with a lady.
பொன் பொதி மத்தமாலை புனல்சூழ் வந்து என் உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
on account of the fact that Civaṉ entered into my mind, wearing a garland of datura flowers which have inside them gold.

{$} உருவளர்/ பவளமேனி ஒளி நீளு அணிந்து
smearing the brigh sacred ash on the body which is red like coral whose colour is increasing.
உமையோடும் வெள்ளை விடைமேல்
seated on a white bull with Umai.
முருகு அலர்கொன்றை திங்கள் முடிமேல் அணிந்து
wearing on the head koṉṟai of spreading fragrance and a crescent.
என் உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
on account of the fact that Civaṉ entered into my mind.
திருமகள்
the goddess of wealth.
கலையது ஊர்தி செயமாது
turkkai, the goddess of victory who has a vehicle of a stag.
பூமி
this earth.
திசை தெய்வம் ஆனபலவும்
the many deities that guard the directions.
அருநெதி நல்ல நல்ல
are exceedingly good like the rare wealth.
அவை அடியார் மிக நல்லநல்ல

{$} மதிநுதல் மங்கையோடு வடபால் இருந்து மறை ஓதும் எங்கள் பரமன்
our supreme being, Civaṉ, who chants the vetam-s sitting under the banyan tree along with a lady whose forehead is like the crescent

இருகோட்டு ஒருமதி எழில்பெற மலைச்சினை (nakkīra-tēva nāyaṉār, tiruveḻukūṟṟirukkai 5)]]
நதியொடு கொன்றைமாலை முடிமேல் அணிந்து என்உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
as he has entered into my mind having adorned his head with a river and a garland of koṉṟai flowers.
கொதி உறு காலன்
the god of death who has fierce anger.
அங்கி
the god of fire.
நமனோடு தூதர் கொடு நோய்கள் ஆன பலவும்
the namaṉ who carries out the commands of the god of death, his messagers, and many cruel dieases.

Civaṉ who has a neck that adds beauty of the poison;

சிலம்புதான் அழகுபெற்ற செய்ய சிறிய அடியையுடையாளது கூற்றை உடையான் (Do. pērāciriyar)]]
எந்தை-
our father.
மடவாள்தனோடும் விடைஏறும் நங்கள்பரமன்
our supreme god, Civaṉ who rides on a bull along with a beautiful lady.
வன்னி கொன்றை முடிமேல் அணிந்து
adorning his head with leaves of indian mesquit and koṉṟai flowers.
துஞ்சு இருள்என் உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
as he entered into my mind when all things are in sound sleep;

துஞ்ச வருவாரும் (campantar tiruvālaṅkāṭu 1)]]
வெஞ்சின அவுணரோடும் உரும் இடியும் மின்னும் மிகையான பூதம் அவையும் அஞ்சிடும்
the great elements, lightning, the dreadful thunder along with the avuṇar of cruel anger will be afraid of us.
நல்ல நல்ல
they will be exceedingly good.

{$} வாள் வரி அதளது ஆடை வரி கோவணத்தர்
Civaṉ who has a fastened loin-cloth and a dress of the skin of a tiger which has stripes like the sickle.
மடவாள்தனோடும் உடனாய்
along with a beautiful lady.
நாள்மலர் கொன்றை வன்னி நதி சூடிவந்து என் உனமே புகுந்த அதனால்
as he entered into my mind wearing koṉṟai which blossoms in the early morning, leaves of indian mesquit and a river.
கோளரி உழுவையோடு கொலையானை, கேழல், கொடு நாகமோடு, கரடி ஆளரி
monkeys which can kill, tiger, elephant which can kill, wilder boar, cruel cobras, bears and lions;

நல்ல நல்ல
are exceedingly good.
அடியார் அவர்க்கு அவை மிக நல்ல நல்ல

{$} செப்பு இளமுலை நன்மங்கை ஒருபாகம் ஆக
when the good natured lady who has breasts like the lid of the casket is one half of his body.
விடைஏறு செல்வன்
the god, Civaṉ who rides on a bull.
அடைவு ஆர் ஒப்ப இளமதியும் அப்பும் முடிமேல் அணிந்து என உளமேபுகுந்த அதனால்
as he entered into my mind wearing a young crescent which has no comparison and water which reached him.

வெப்பொடு குளிரும் வாதம் மிகையானபித்தும் வினையான (உம்) வந்து நலியா அப்படி நல்ல நல்ல
fever, cold fits, the ten vital airs of the body, excessive bile, acts are of such of a good nature as not to afflict us reaching us.
அவை அடியார் அவர்க்கு மிக நல்ல நல்ல

{$} வேள்பட அன்று விழிசெய்து
opening the frontal eye to destroy Vēl (Cupid) in the distant past.
விடைமேல் மடவாள் தனோடும் உடனாய் இருந்து
seated on a bull united with a beautiful lady.
வாள்மதி வன்னி கொன்றை மலர்சூடிவந்து என்உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
as he entered into my mind, wearing a bright crescent, leaves of indian mesquit and flowers of koṉṟai, coming to me out of his free will.
ஏழ்கடல் சூழ் இலங்கை அரையன் தனோடும் இடர் ஆன வந்து நலியா
sufferings will not inflict us pain along with the King of Ilankai surrounded by surging oceaṉ.
ஆழ்கடல் நல்ல நல்ல
the deep ocean is exceedingly good.
அடியார் அவர்க்கு அவைமிக நல்ல நல்ல

{$} பலபலவேடம் ஆகும் பரன்
the supreme being, Civaṉ who has very many forms,

ஒருவனுமே பல ஆகி நின்றது ஒருவண்ணமே
எம்இறைவற்கு இவை ஒன்றொடுஒன்று ஒவ்வாவே (campantar, tirunaṟaiyūrccitticcaram, 6; tiruvirāmeccuram, 8, tirunāraiyūr, 6)]]
நாரி பாகன்
who has a lady on one half.
பசு ஏறும் எங்கள் பரமன்
our supreme god, Civaṉ who rides on a bull.
சலமகளோடு எருக்கு முடிமேல் அணிந்து என் உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
as he entered into my mind having worn lady in a form of water and yarcum flowers.
மலர்மிசையோனும், மாலும், மறையோடு, தேவர் வருகாலமானபலவும் அலைகடல் மேருநல்ல
Piramaṉ who is seated on a flower, Māl, Vētam-s, the celestials and inauspicious time that comes to us, ocean which is always moving and Mēru are good.
அவை அடியார் அவர்க்கு மிக நல்ல நல்ல
they are exceedingly beneficial to devotees.

{$} கொத்து அலர் குழலியோடு விசயற்கு நல்கு குணம் ஆய வேடவிகிர்தன்
Civaṉ who is different from this world and who assumed the form of a good natured hunter and granted a weapon to Vicayaṉ, along with a lady on whose tresses of hair bunches of flowers blossom.
மத்தமும் மதியும் நாகம் (உம்) முடிமேல் அணிந்து என் உளமே புகுந்த அதனால்
as he entered into my mind having adorned his head with datura flowers a crescent and a cobras.
புத்தரொடு அமணைவாதில் அழிவிக்கும் அண்ணல் திருநீறு
the sacred ash will destroy the buddhists and the camanar in religious discussions.
செம்மை திடமே
its uprightress is definite.
அத்தகு நல்ல நல்ல
they are exceedingly good, appropriate to that.
அடியார் அவர்க்கு அவை மிக நல்ல நல்ல

{$} தேன் அமர்பொழில்கொள் ஆலைவினைசெந்நெல்துன்னி
being abundant in sugar mills situated within gardens which have honey and red variety of superior paddy that is produced
வளர் செம்பொன் எங்கும் நிகழ
increasing superior gold is abundant everywhere.
நான்முகன் ஆதி ஆய பிரமாபுரத்து மறை ஞான ஞான முனிவன்
Campantaṉ who possesses knowledge of Vētam-s and knowledge of god in Piramāpuram which derives its name from Piramaṉ of four faces.
(தான்) உறுகோளும் நாளும் அடியாரைவந்து நலியாத வண்ணம் உரைசெய் ஆனசொல் மாலை ஓதும் அடியார்கள் வானில் அரசால்வர்; ஆணைநமதே
the devotees who daily recite the garland of words which were done in order that the evil planets and stars may not approach and inflict suffering to devotees, will rule in heaven; the authority is ours.
