{$} நீருள் ஆர் கயல் வாவி, சூழ்பொழில், நீண்ட மாவயல், ஈண்டு மாமதில், தேரின் ஆர் மறுகில், விழாமல்கு திருக்களருள்
in Tiruk Kaḷar, which has tanks having plenty of water with carp fish, surrounding gardens, long and big fields, great walls of fortification that are close together, increasing festival in the streets where temple cars are drawn.
ஊருளார் இடு பிச்சைபேணும் ஒருவனே
the unequalled Civaṉ who obtains with desire the alms given by the residents of the village!
ஒளிர் செஞ்சடை(ம்) மதி ஆர நின்றவனே
who stood, for the crescent to stay in the glittering red catai!
அடைந்தார்க்கு அருளாய்(ஏ)
bestow your grace on devotees who approach you.

{$} தோளின் மேல் ஒளிநீறு தாங்கிய தொண்டர்வந்து அடி (1) போற்ற
the devotees who smear on their shoulders bright sacred ash to come near you and praise your feet.
(2) மிண்டிய தாளினார் வளரும் தவம் மல்கு திருக்களருள்
in Tirukkaḷar where penance is increasing by many folds and where Civaṉ whose feet are crowded by devotees, is flourishing.
வேளின் நேர் விசயற்கு அருள்புரி வித்தகா
able god who granted your grace to Vicayaṉ who can be compared to Murukaṉ
விரும்பும் அடியாரை ஆள் உகந்தவனே
who desired to admit as your protege the devotees who love you ardently.

in Tiruk Kaḷar which has wealthy houses and is surrounded by gardens, where great people who praise Civaṉ with many cool flowers joining with good-natured youths who are able to sing, live
நீடவல்ல நிமலனே
the immaculate Civaṉ who has been there since time immemorial.
நிரை கழல் சிலம்பு ஆர்க்க மாநடம் ஆடவல்லவனே
who is clever to perform the big dance to make the lady's anklet and rows of kaḻal make a big sound

in Tiruk Kaḷar where in the storeyed mansions males are crowded with ladies who have big and sharp eyes like the arrow, and which is surrounded by gardens which have flowers golden in colour
என்பு பூண்டது ஓர்மேனி எம் இறைவா இணைஅடிபோற்றி நின்றவர்க்கு அன்பு செய்தவனே
Lord who reciprocated the love to your devotees who praised your feet addressing you as our Lord who has a body adorned with bones!

{$} கொங்கு உலாம் மலர்ச் சோலை வண்டினம் கெண்டி மாமது உண்டு இசைசெய
the swarms of bees work into the flowers and drink abundant honey in the flower-gardens from which fragrance spreads, to hum like music.
தெங்கு பைங்கமுகம் புடைசூழ்ந்த திருக்களருள்
in Tiruk Kaḷar surrounded on all sides by cocoanut trees and green areca-palms.
மங்கை தன்னொடும் கூடிய மணவாளனே
the bridegroom who is united with a lady!
பிணைகொண்டு ஓர் கைத்தலத்து
holding a deer in one hand.
அம்கையில் படையாய்
who has a battle-axe in the other beautiful hand!

{$} கோலம் மாமயில் ஆலக்கொண்டல்கள் சேர் பொழிற்குலவும் வயலிடைச்சேல் இளங்கயல் ஆர்புனல் சூழ்ந்ததிருக்களருள்
in Tiruk Kaḷar which is surrounded by water which has abundance of carnatic carp young carp in the eminent fields and gardens in which clouds which have drawn water, reach, causing the beautiful big peacocks to dance spreading their tails;

Lord in whose neck there is the blue colour!
புன்சடைப்பெருமான் எனப்பொலி ஆலநீழல் உளாய்
Civaṉ who is under the shade of the flourishing banyan tree to be praised as the great one who has a ruddy caṭai!

{$} தம்பலம் அறியாதவர் (1) மதில்தாங்கு மால்வரையால் அழல் எழத் திண்பலம் கெடுத்தாய்
you destroyed the firm strength with the low of a mountain which supports the world as linch pin, the forts of the acurar who did not know their strength, to catch fire.
திகழ்கின்ற திருக்களருள்
in eminent Tiruk Kaḷar.
(2) வம்பு அலர்மலர் தூவி நின் அடிவானவர் தொழக் கூத்து உகந்தபேர் அம்பலத்து உறைவாய்
you dwell in a big public hall where you rejoiced in dancing, for the celestials to worship your feet with joined hands scattering flowers spreading fragrance.

in Tiruk Kaḷar, where the perfect mansions which resemble hills, the very tall towers and the storeys having flags rise high and seem to come into contact with the moon that shines in the sky.
(3) நின்று அடுத்து உயர் மால்வரை திரள் தோளினால் எடுத்தான் தன் நீள்முடி அன்று அடர்த்து உகந்தாய்
you became great by pressing in the distant past, the tall crowns of the arakkaṉ who lifted with his globular shoulders the big and high mountain standing and approaching it.

in Tiruk Kaḷar where the moon of bright light reaches the gardens, and which is the place where the young girls who practise playing on the yāḻ which is attuned to the notes, to be satisfied fully with songs and dances.
(1) உள்நிலாவிய ஒருவனே
the unequalled god who dwells inside every being!
இருவர்க்கு நின்கழல் காட்சி ஆரழல் அண்ணல் ஆய எம்மான்
our Lord who assumed the form of fire in which it was difficult to obtain a vision of your feet and head to both Māl and Ayaṉ!

in Tiruk Kaḷar where the brahmins who perform religious rites in the consecrated fires, who do many services with love are everywhere prominent along with the songs of the devotees who had done good acts.
வாக்கினால்மறை ஓதினாய்
you chanted the Vētam-s by your speech.
அமண் தேரர் சொல்லிய சொற்களானபொய் ஆக்கி நின்றவனே
Civaṉ who stood unperturbed having made the words of the amaṇar and tērar as falsehood.

in Tiruk Kaḷar where the ladies whose words are like centu.

அந்தி அன்னது ஓர் மேனியானை அமரர்தம் பெருமானை
on Civaṉ the god of the immortals, who has a form like the evening sky.
இந்து வந்து எழும் மாடவீதி எழில்கொள் காழி(ந்) நகர்க்கவுணியன் ஞானசம்பந்தன்
Ñāṉacampantaṉ who was born in the Kavuṇiya Kōttiram in the city of beautiful Kaḻi which has streets having storeys where the moon stays and rises.
சொல்லியவை பத்தும் பாடத்தவம் ஆம் (ஏ)
if one sings all the ten verses composed by him, it is equal to penance.
