{$} பண்ணின் நேர்மொழி மங்கைமார் பலர் பாடி ஆடிய ஓசை நாள்தொறும்
the sound of the dance when many young girls whose words are as sweet as the melody and sing, daily.
கண்ணின் நேரயலே பொலியும் கடற்காழி
in Kāḻi girt by the sea where they abound before one's eyes.
பெண்ணின் ஏர் ஒரு பங்குடைப் பெருமானை எம்பெருமான் என்னு என்று உன்னும் (1) அண்ணலார் அடியார்
the holy slaves of the god, who think very often of the god who has a beautiful lady on his half as our God.
அருளாலும் குறைவு இலர்
are not wanting not only in his grace but also in other worldly wealth which is necessary for enjoying the pleasures of this world.

{$} மொண்டு
the clouds having drawn water;
அலம்பிய வார் திரைக் கடல்
the sea of long waves which make a big sound.
மோதி மீது எறி சங்க வங்கமும்
makes the conches and ships which are dashed and thrown on the shore.
கண்டல் (அம்) புடைசூழ் வயல் சேர் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle, reach the fields which are surrounded on all sides by mangroves.
வண்டு அலம்பிய கொன்றையான் அடிவாழ்த்தி ஏத்திய மாந்தர் தம்வினை
the sins of people who praised and blessed the feet of the god wearing koṉṟai flowers on which bees hum.
விண்டல் அங்கு எளிதாம்; அது நல்விதிஆம்
Leaving them is easy; that is the golden rule.

{$} நாடு எலாம் ஒளிஎய்த நல்லவர் நன்றும் ஏத்திவணங்குவார் பொழிற், காடு எலாம் மலர் தேன் துளிக்கும் கடற்காழி
in Kāḻi which is in proximity to the sea, where in all the dense gardens flowers give honey in drops and which has good people who worship and praise the god to make the whole of the country shine with fame.
தோடு உலாவிய காது உளாய்! சுரிசங்க வெண்குழையாய்! என்று என்று உன்னும் வேடங்கொண்டவர்கள்
the ascetics who are dressed like Civaṉ think of god without ceasing as one who has on one ear a lady's ear-ring moving and a mens' ear-ring made of spiralling conch on the other.
வினை நீங்கலுற்றாரே
their sins will take leave of them of their own accord. (The past tense is used for certainty).

{$} மையின் ஆர்பொழில் சூழ
as the parks on which clouds rest.
நீழலில் வாசம் ஆர் மதுமல்க
in the shade the fragrant honey increases in quantity. $$
நாள் தொறும் கையின் ஆர் மலர் கொண்டு எழுவார் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle where the devotees start full of flowers in their hands, to worship the god daily.
ஐயனே அரனே' என்று ஆதரித்து
treating with regard saying, Master, Araṉ!
ஓதி நீதியுளே நினைப்பவர்
and those who think with right conduct uttering those names.
உய்யுமாறு உலகில் உயர்ந்தாரின் உள்ளாரே
are among those exalted in virtue to save themselves from the cycle of birth and death.

{$} மலிகடுந்திரை மேல் (1) நிமிர்ந்து எதிர்வந்துவந்து ஒளிர் நித்திலம்விழ
as the shining pearls fall coming very often crowded on the quickly flowing waves.
கலிகடிந்தகையார் மருவும் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle where the donors who completely remove the proverty of supplicants.
வலியகாலனை வீட்டி மாணிதன் இன்னுயிர் அளித்தானை வாழ்த்திட
if one praises the god who protected the previous life of the piramacāri, killing the strong kālaṉ (God of death)
தீ வினை நோய் அவைமெலியும்
his sins and diseases will perish.
வீடுமேவுவார்
and will attain eternal bliss.

{$} மற்றும் இவ்வுலகத்துளோர்களும் வானுளோர்களும் வந்து வைகலும் கற்ற சிந்தையராய்க் கருதும் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle where the people of this world and celestial beings come and meditate daily, with a mind, having learnt to worship god.
நெற்றிமேல் அமர் கண்ணினானை நினைந்திருந்து இசை பாடுவார் வினை செற்ற மாந்தர் எனச் சிந்தையுள் தெளிமின்கள்
people of this world! Be clear in your minds that those who sing the fame with music meditating on the god who has a frontal eye, are people who have destroyed their sins.

{$} தான் நலம்புரை வேதியரொடு தக்க மாதவர்தாம் தொழப்பயில் கானலின் விரைசேர் விம்மு கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle where the fragrance of the sea-shore grove combines with others and increases and where the worthy great ascetics gather together along with brahmins of good qualities and eminence.
ஊனும் ஆருயிர் வாழ்க்கையாய் உறவாகி நின்ற ஒருவனே என்று
praising the god as the unequalled god who is the relation and the precious life that exists in the body.
ஆன் நலம் கொடுப்பார் அருள்வேந்தர் ஆவாரே
those who give the five products from the cow will be kings in the matter of possessing the god's grace.

{$} மைத்தவண்டுஎழு சோலை ஆலைகள் சாலிசேர் வயல் ஆர்
to spread over the fields of red variety of paddy and sugar-canes, and gardens from which black bees rise after drinking honey.
கத்துவார்கடல் சென்று உலவும் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle where the long and roaring sea moves about.
அத்தனே! அரனே! அரக்கனை அன்று அடர்த்து உகந்தாய்! உனகழல் பத்தராய்ப்பரவும் பயன் ஈங்கு நல்காயே
Bestow on me the benefit of praising as a devotees your feet saying Father' araṉ! one who became great by crushing the arakkaṉ in the distant past!; in this birth itself.

{$} பருமராமொடு தெங்கு பைங்கதலிப் பருங்கனிகள் மந்திகள் உண்ண
when the female monkeys are eating the big fruits of the green plaintain, coconut palm and big common cadamba.
திருவின் நாயகன் ஆய மாலொடு செய்ய மாமலர்ச் செல்வன் ஆகிய இருவர் காண்பு அரியான் என ஏத்துதல் இன்பமே
It gives pleasure to praise the god as one who could not be found out by both the Māl who is the husband of Tiru (Lakshmi) and the god who is seated in the big and red (lotus) flower.

{$} பிண்டம் உண்டு உழல்வார்களும்
the jains who roam about eating balls of cooked rice.
பிரியாது வண்துகில் ஆடை போர்த்தவர்
and the buddhists who always cover their bodies with a yellow robe without removing it.
கண்டுசேரகிலார்
have not the capacity to reach Civaṉ realising his greatness.
அழகுஆர் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle and much beauty.
தொண்டைவாய் உமையோடும் கூடிய வேடனே! சுடலைப்பொடி அணி அண்டவாணன்! என்பார்க்கு அல்லல் (தான்) அடையா
suffering will not reach those who praise god as, Hunter who is united with Umai whose lips are like the fruits of the common creeper of the hedge! Resident of the universe who smears the ash in the cremation ground!.

{$} (1) பெயர் எனும் இவை பன்னிரண்டினும் உண்டு எனப்பெயர் பெற்ற ஊர் திகழ், கயல் உலாம் வயல் சூழ்ந்து அழகார் கலிக்காழி
in Kāḻi of great bustle which is full of beauty as it is surrounded by fields in which carps move about; which is eminent by the fact of its having these twelve names among which Kāḻi is included.
நயன்நடன்கழல் ஏத்தி
praising the feet of the god who is the right conduct and dancer.
வாழ்த்திய ஞானசம்பந்தன் செந்தமிழ் உரை உயருமா(று) மொழிவார் உலகத்து உயர்ந்தாரே
in this world those are eminent people who will recite the verses done in chaste Tamiḻ by ñāṉacampantaṉ, which are in the form of benediction.
