மேய அழகு ஆர் குரவப் பொழில் சூழ் குரங்கு ஆடு துறை பரவ வல்வினை கெடும்
if one praises Kuṟaṅkāṭutuṟai surrounded by gardens of beautiful bottle-flower trees, in which he dwells, the irresistible Karmams will be destroyed.

மறையின் ஒலி வானவர் தானவர் ஏத்தும் குறைவு இல்லவன் ஊர் குரங்காடு துறையே
Kuraṇkāṭutuṟai is the place of Civaṉ who has nothing to want and who is praised by the celestials and acurar with the words of vētam.

the place of Civaṉ who begged alms to be ridiculed.
பொன் கொழிக்கும் புனல் சூழ் குரங்காடு துறை
is Kuraṅkāṭutuṟai surrounded by water which washes on the banks gold.

having smeared sumptuously with sacred ash on his body.
நெற்றி ஓர் கண்ணன்

ஈண்டு எரி ஆடி
having danced in a big fire.
ஆறு ஆர்சடை அந்தணன்
the brahmin who has on his caṭai the river (Kaṅkai).

மிளிரும் அரவு ஆர்த்தவன் மேவிய கோயில்
the temple desired by Civaṉ who tied shining cobras.
குளிரும், புனலர் சூழ் குரங்காடுதுறை
is Kuraṅkāṭutuṟai surrounded by cool water.

Civaṉ who removes the Karmams associated with the soul in previous births.
பார்ப்பதியோடும் முழவம் குழல் மொந்தை முழங்க
when the muzhavam, flute and montai are played on a high pitch.

the beautiful god who dances in fire.
அயில் மூவிலை வேல் வலன் ஏந்தும் குழகன் நகர் (போல்) குரங்காடு துறை
the city of the youth who holds in his right hand a sharp trident of three blades is Kuraṅkāṭutuṟai

{$} வரை ஆர்த்து எடுத்த (வ்) அரக்கன் வலி ஒல்க நிரை ஆர் விரலால் நெரித்திட்டவன் ஊர் (ஆம்)
the place of Civaṉ who pressed down with the rows of toes, to diminish the strength of the arakkaṉ who lifted the mountain with a roaring noise.
கறை ஆர்ந்து இழி காவிரிக் கோலக்கரைமேல் குரை ஆர் பொழில் சூழ் குரங்காடு துறையே
is Kuraṅkāṭutuṟai surrounded by gardens of noise, situated on the beautiful bank of the Kāviri which descends filling the banks.

Civaṉ who performed the dance of pāṇṭaraṅkam and who assumed the form of fire, could not even by thought by Māl and Piramaṉ of four faces.

ñāṉacampantaṉ of Kaḻi where good people are many in number.
சொல் ஆர் தமிழ் மாலை பத்தும் தொழுது ஏத்தவல்லார் (அவர்)
those who are capable of praising Civaṉ worshipping him with joined hands, with the garland of tamiḻ verses full of fame.
