{$} குலவு பாரிடம் போற்ற வீற்றிருந்து
sitting majestically to be praised by the rejoicing pūtam-s.
இலகு (1) மாமழு ஏந்தும் அங்கையன்
holding in his palms a big shining battle-axe.
நிலவும் இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதத்து உலவினான் அடி உள்க நல்குமே
to meditate on the feet of Civaṉ who moved about in intiranilapparuppatam which is eternal, that meditation will bestow all good things.

குறைவு இல் ஆர் மதி சூடி
wearing a crescent that neither waxes wanes.
ஆடல் வண்டு அறையும் மாமலர்க் கொன்றை சென்னி சேர் இறைவன்
the Lord who pervades everywhere and who has on his head big koṉṟai flowers on which the bees which hover them hum loudly.
இந்திர நீலப் பர்ப்பதத்து உறைவினான்தனை ஓதி உய்ம்மினே
save yourselves by praising Civaṉ who dwells in intirapīlapparppatam.

{$} என்பொன் என்மணி என்ன ஏத்துவார் (1) நம்பன்
Civaṉ is the object of desire for those who praise him, my gold! my gem.
நான்மறை பாடும் நாவினான்
sings the four vetams with his tongue.
இன்பன் இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதத்து (2) அன்பன் பாதமே அடைந்து வாழ்மினே
(People of this world!) live happily approaching the feet themselves of the friend in intiranīlapparppatam, who is the cause of all happiness.

{$} தேசம் ஆர் புகழ் ஆய செம்மை எம் ஈசன் இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதம் கூசிவாழ்த்துதும் குணம் (அது) ஆகவே
we shall praise intiranīlapparppatam of our Civaṉ who is impartial and whose fame has filled the country with shyness to be of good character.
வினை நாசம் ஆம், நன்மை தான் உரும்
our acts will perish, good things will come to us of their accord.

{$} மருவு மான் (1) மடமாது ஓர் பாகமாய்ப் பரவுவார் வினை தீர்த்த (2) பண்பினான்
Civaṉ who has the nature of removing the acts of those who praise him, having as one half a young lady who is united with him.
இரவன்
one who begs alms.
இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதத்து அருவி சூடிடும் அடிகள் வண்ணமே
that is the nature of the god who wears the mountain streams in intiranīlapparppatam

Civaṉ wears on his catai a white crescent that gives light.
எண்ணிலார் மதில் எய்த வில்லினான்
discharged an arrow from the bow on the forts of the enemies.
அண்ணல் இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதத்து உள் நிலாவுறும் ஒருவன் அல்லனே
is he not the god who has no equal and who remain permanently in the eminent intiranīlapparppatam?

Civaṉ has a flag on which the form of a bull is drawn.
கூற்று உதைத்தவர்
Kicked the god of death.
பொடி கொள் மேனியில் பூண்ட பாம்பினர்
adorns his body on which the sacred ash is smeared, with cobra
அடிகள் இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதம் (2) உடைய வாணன் உகந்த கொள்கையே
these are the great notions the god, who always stays in intiranīlaparppatam.

{$} எடுத்த வல் அரக்கன் கரம் புயம் அடர்த்தது ஓர் விரலான் அவனை ஆட்படுத்தன்
Civaṉ pressed down with a single toe the hands and shoulders of the strong arakkaṉ who lifted the mountain, Kayilai and then accepted him on his protege.
இந்திர நீலப்பர்ப்பதம் முடித்தலம்(ம்) உற முயலும் இன்பமே
(People of this world!) try to worship his intiranīlapparppatam by bowing your heads; you will obtain happiness.

{$} பூவினைனொடு மாலும் போற்றுறும் தேவன் இந்திர நீலபபர்ப்பதம் 1. பாவியாது எழுவாரைத் தம்வினை 2. கோவியா வரும் சொல்லும் கூற்றமே
the god of death will kill those who rise without meditating on intiranīlapparppatam of the god who is praised by Piramaṉ in the lotus flower and Māl; their acts will reach them getting angry.

what is the reason for the unfortunate low amanar, tēvar who have no eminence and who have been given up as lost for not thinking about the fame of the first cause who dwells in intiranīlapparppatam being the embodiment of good knowledge?

{$} கந்தம் ஆர் பொழில் சூழ்ந்த காழியான் ஞானசம்பந்தன் இந்திரன் தொழும் நீலப்பர்ப்பதத்து அந்த மில்லியை ஏத்து பாடல் கொண்டு ஓதிவாழ்மினே
live happily chanting the verses which praise Civaṉ and who dwells in nīlapparppatam worshipped by intiraṉ and who dwells in nīlapparppatam worshipped by intiraṉ and who has no end composed by ñaṉacampantaṉ, who is a native of Kāḻi surrounded by gardens of fragrance.
