our sins will disappear without increasing.
அல்லல் போய் அறும்
sufferings will go away from us.
இகலியார் புரம் எய்தவன் உறை புகலி ஆம் நகர் போற்றி வாழ்மின்
enjoy a happy life by worshipping the city of pukali where the god who shot an arrow on the enemies' cities, resides.

the Lord has a bull made ready to ride, with all adornments.
பால் மதிக் கண்ணியார்
has as a chaplet the crescent moon as white as milk.
கமழ் கொன்றை சேர் முடிப் புண்ணியன் உறையும் புகலியை நலமான வேண்டில் நண்ணுமின்
People of this world! If you are desirous of good things in this life, go and worship pukali where the Lord who has on his head fragrant koṉṟai flowers.

throw off all low attachments
மேதரு பாச வல்வினை தீர்த்த பண்பினன்
the Lord of such a property as to completely destroy the very strong action of pācam which is eminent by its evil effects.
பூசும் நீற்றினன் பூம் புகலியைப் பெரிது இன்பமாகப் பேசுமின்
People of this world! always talk about the beautiful pukali of the Lord who has smeared sacred ash, to define great pleasure.

{$} கடி கொள் கூவிளம் மத்தம் வைத்தவன்
the Lord placed on his head the fragrant leaves of vilvam as well as dhatura flowers which are not fragrant.
படி கொள் பாரிடம் பேசும் பான்மையன்
has the property of being spoken highly by the groups of pūtam of grotesque forms.
பொடி கொள் மேனியன்
has smeared his form with the fine powder of sacred ash.
பூம்புகலியுள் அடிகளை அடைந்து அன்பு செய்யுமே
people of this world! Love the god in beautiful pukali with devotion, approaching him.

the Lord has worn many anklets of tinkling sound that are tied to the feet.
ஓதத்து ஆர் விடம் உண்டவன்
He drank the poison which was produced in the ocean.
படைப் பூதத்தான்
has an army of pūtam.
புகலிந்நகர் தொழ ஏதத்தார்க்கு இடம் இல்லை என்பர்
Learned people say that if one worships the city of pukali there is no room for suffering

the Lord is the author of the vētam.
ஒலிமல்கு வீணையன்
has a vīṇai on which he plays sweet music.
நிறையினார் நிமிர் புன்சடையன்
Has a golden and erect caṭai which is full of water.

எம் பொறையினான் உறை பூம் புகலியை நிறையினால் தொழ நேசம் ஆகும்
If anyone worships the beautiful pukali with a firm and resolute mind, belonging to the Lord who carries our burden, it will increase piety.

{$} கரவிடை மனத்தாரைக் காண்கிலான்
The Lord cannot even condescend to look at people who deceitful ideas in their minds.
இரவிடைப் பலி கொள்ளும் எம் இறை
our Lord who receives alms at night.
பொரு விடை உயர்த்தான்
He has given prominence to the form of a fighting a bull by exhibiting it in his flag.
புகலியைப் பரவிடப் பயில் பாவம் பாறும்
the crowded sins will get scattered and destroyed if one praises his pukali.

{$} அருப்பின் ஆர் முலை மங்கை பங்கினன்
the Lord has the young lady of the mountain who has breasts comparable to buds
[[GRAM: அரும்பு has become அருப்பு (வலித்தல்விகாரம்)]]

விருப்பினான்
he has love on his devotees.
அரக்கன் உரம் செகும் பொருப்பினான்
He destroyed the might of arakkaṉ with the help of the mountain.
பொழில் ஆர் புகலி ஊர் இருப்பினான் அடி ஏத்தி வாழ்த்தும்
people of this world! invoke his blessings by worshipping the feet of the Lord who resides in the city of Pukali which has many parks.

{$} மாலும் நான் முகன் தானும் வார் கழல் சீலமும் முடி தேட நீண்ட எரிபோலும் மேனியன்
the Lord has a form like fire which grew in length when Māl, and Piramaṉ with four faces searched the nature of the feet and head
பூம்புகலியுள் பாலது ஆடிய பண்பன் நல்லன்
the Lord who has good properties and who bathed in milk in the beautiful pukali, is good

the words of low people who eat their food standing (jains).

ஒன்றதாக வையா உணர்வினுள் நின்றவன் நிகழும் புகலியைச் சென்று கைதொழச் செல்வம் ஆகுமே
wealth will increase if one goes to, and worship with both hands, pukali where the Lord is permanent in the minds of the people who do not attach any great importance (to their words)

There will be no sins in their wide world for those who are capable of reciting the ten verses which are like garlands and which came from the mouth of good ñāṉacampantaṉ, which did not praise any other deity, on the beautiful Pukali of the Lord who rides on a bull
