Civaṉ who is in eminent Teḷiccēri where the tēvar coming to the earth, worship your beautiful feet thrice in a day with fully blossomed flowers!
மேவ அருந் தொழி லா ளொடு கேழ்ற்பின் வேடனாம், பாவகம் கொடு நின்றது (போலும்) நும் பான்மையே
is it your nature to put on the appearance of a hunter following a pig, along with a lady whose duties cannot be taken by others?

Civaṉ in eminent teḷiccēri where the holy water exists; to be praised by the people of this world and the celestials for the piety it creates by a dip in it?
விளைக்கும் திண் சிலை மேல் ஐந்து பாணமும் (தான்) எய்து களிக்கும் காமனை எங்ஙனம் நீர் கண்ணின் காய்ந்தது
How is it that you burnt with the fire of the frontal eye the Kāmaṉ (cupid) who rejoiced in disharging all the five arrows fixing them in the strong bow which was bent?

when you went to receive beautiful alms, you went placing a lady wearing bodice on her breasts, is it due to the fact that there was no other place to keep her in safety?

மால் அடித்தலம் மாமலரான் முடி தேடியே, ஓலிமிட்டிட எங்ஙனம் ஓர் உருக் கொண்டது
How did you take a form of fire, when Māl went searching the feet and Piramaṉ in the big flower (of lotus) the head, and called for succour when they could not find them?

Civaṉ in teḷiccēri where great brahmins who have learnt vētams which contain mantirams, ascetics who have done penance, and ladies whose words are as sweet as centu, gather!

மிக்க காழியுள் ஞான சம்பந்தன் விளம்பிய தக்க பாடல்கள் பத்தும் வல்லார்கள்
those who are able to recite all the ten worthy verses composed by Ñāṉacampantaṉ of Kāḻi which is superior to other shrines.
தட முடித் தொக்க வானவர் சூழ் இருப்பவர் சொல்லிலே
if we make mention of their benefits, they are people who will be in heaven, surrounded by the celestials who wear big crowns and gather there.
