கந்தம் மல்கு குழலியொடும் கடிபொழிற் கச்சிதன்னுள்
in Kacci which has fragrant gardens; along with the lady having tresses of hair of increasing fragrance.
அந்தம் இல் குணத்தார் (அவர்) போற்ற அணங்கினொடு ஆடல்புரி எந்தை மேவிய ஏகம்பம் தொழுது ஏத்த
if one praises and worships with joined hands ēkampam where our father performing dance with the divine damsel, Umai, dwells with desire.
இடர்கெடும்
sufferings will perish. (Kacci is the name of the place; ēkampam is the name of the temple).

{$} வரம் திகழும் அவுணர் மாநகர் மூன்று உடன் மாய்ந்து அவிய
all the three big cities of the avuṇar who were eminent having received boons, to perish by ceasing to exist.
கரம் துரந்து எரி செய்த தாழ்சடைச் சங்கரன் மேய இடம்
the place where cankaraṉ who has a hanging caṭai, and who burnt them by discharging an arrow, dwells with desire.
குருந்தம் மல்லிகை கோங்கு மாதவி நல்லகுரா மரவம் திருந்து பைம்பொழில் கச்சி ஏகம்பம் சேர இடர் கெடுமே
suffering will perish if one reaches Ekampam in Kacci which has verdant gardens in which the wild-lime tree, jasmine creeper, common caung, common delight of the woods, good bottle-flower trees and Katampa trees are in a flourishing condition.

{$} வண்ண வெண்பொடிப் பூசும் மார்பின் வர அரவம் புனைந்து
adorning the chest which is smeared with white sacred ash, with cobras with lines on their bodies.
பெண் அமர்ந்து எரிஆடல் பேணிய பிஞ்ஞகன்
Civaṉ who wears a peacock's feather and desires a lady on one half and dances in the fire.
மேய இடம்
the place he desires.
விண் அமர் (1) நெடுமாடம் ஓங்கி விளங்கிய கச்சி தன்னுள்
in Kacci which is eminent by tall storeys rising high so as to touch the sky.
திண்ணமாம் பொழில் சூழ்ந்த ஏகம்பம்
is ēkampam surrounded by strong mango-groves.
சேர இடர் கெடும்
if we approach that shrine our sufferings will perish.

ēkampam surrounded by parks where cardamon spreads its fragrance.
தோலும் நூலும் துதைந்த வரைமார்பில் சுடலை வெண்ணீறு அணிந்து
having smeared the white sacred ash in the cremation ground on the chest which is as strong as the mountain and in which the skin and a sacred thread are close to each other.
காலன் மாள்வுறக் காலால் காய்ந்த கடவுள் கருதும் இடம்
is the place which the god who became angry with the god of death and caused his death kicking him with his leg.
ஏத்த இடர் கெடுமே
to praise that temple suffering will perish.

{$} தோடு அணி(ம்) மலர்க்கொன்றை சேர்சடுத் தூமதியம் புனைந்து
adorning his caṭai to which koṉṟai flowers with beautiful petals are attached with a spotless crescent.
பாடல் நான்மறை ஆக
his songs being the four vētams.
பல்கணப்பேய்கள் அவை சூழ
the pēys of many groups to surround him.
வாடல் வெண்தலையோடு அனல் ஏந்தி
holding fire along with a dried white skull.
மகிழ்ந்து ஆடல்புரி சேடர் சேர் கலிக் கச்சி ஏகம்பம் சேர இடர் கெடுமே
sufferings will perish if one reaches ēkampam in Kacci of bustle where the youth who dances out of joy, dwells.

{$} சாகம் பொன் வரையாகத் தானவர் மும்மதில் சாய எய்து
discharging an arrow to destroy the three forts of the tēṉaVar, using the golden mēru as the bow.
ஆகம் பெண் ஒருபாகம் ஆக அரவொடு நூல் அணிந்து
placing a lady on one half of the body, and wearing a sacred thread along with cobras.
மாகம் தோய் மணிமாட மாமதிற் கச்சி மாநகருள்

sufferings will perish by praising the red-lotus feet of the Lord of the universe who dwells in ēkampam.

ஏண் இலா அரக்கன் தண் நிள்முடி பத்தும் இறுத்தவன் ஊர்

suffering will perish if one visits ēkampam in Kacci of bustle, belonging to Civaṉ who caused the all the three cities of the enemies to cease to exist, by one cruel arrow.

those who are capable of reciting all the ten verses with which ñaṉacampantaṉ who had knowledge of tamiḻ which is famous in the world, and who is a native of the good city of Kaḻumalam where beautiful storeys on which clouds settle, rise high.
சீரின் ஆர்புகழ் ஓங்கி விண்ணவரோடும் சேர்பவரே
are those who join the celestials, their eminent fame increasing day by day.
