{$} முள்ளில் மேல் முதுகூகை முரலும் சோலை வெள்ளில்மேல் விடு கூறைக்கொடி விளைந்த கள்ளில் மேய அண்ணல் கழல்கள் நாளும் உள்ளுமேல்
if anyone meditates daily on the feet of the god in Kaḷḷil where on the wood apple tree flags made of cloth are found, occuring in the gardens where on the trees which have thorns; the old rock-horned owl cries.
உயர்வு எய்தல் ஒருதலையே
it is a certainty that he will attain eminence

{$} ஆடலான் பாடலான் அரவங்கள் பூண்டான்
Civaṉ dances, sings and adorns himself with cobras.
ஓடு அ(ல்)லால் கலன் இல்லான் உறைபதி (ஆல்)
the dwelling place of the god who has no other eating plate except the skull.
காடு அலால் கருதாத கள்ளில் மேயான் (1) பாடு எலாம் பெரியோர்கள் பரசுவாரே
great people will praise all the greatness of the god in Kaḷḷil who does not consider any other place except the cremation ground for his dance.

{$} எண்ணார் மும்மதில் எய்த இமையா முக்கண் பண்ஆர் நான் மறை பாடும் பரம யோகி
the supreme yōki who sings the four Vētam-s which are full of music, who has three eyes whose eyelids do not close and who shot an arrow on the three forts of his enemies.
கண் ஆர் நீறு அணி மார்பன்
who smears on his chest sacred ash beautiful to look at.
கள்ளில் மேயான்
who is in Kaḷḷil
பெண் ஆண் ஆம் பெருமான் எம் பிஞ்ஞகனே
our Lord who adorned himself with a peacock's feather has both male and female forms in one body.

{$} பிறை பெற்ற சடை அண்ணல்
the chief who has a crescent on his caṭai.
பெடை வண்டு ஆலும் நறைபெற்ற விரி கொன்றைத்தார் நயந்த கறை பெற்ற மிடற்று அண்ணல்
the chief who has a black neck, who desired a garland of blossomed koṉṟai having honey on which the female bee hums.
கள்ளில் மேயான்
who is in Kaḷḷil.
நிறைபெற்ற (1) அடியார்கள் நெஞ்சு உளானே
is in the minds of devotees who have restrained them from going astray.

{$} விரையாலும் மலராலும் விழுமை குன்றா உரையாலும் ஊரார் எதிர் கொள்ள
to be received by the residents of that place with fragrant things; flowers, and words which are not deficient in magnificence.
கரை ஆர் பொன் புனல் வேலிக் கள்ளில் மேயான்
Civaṉ who is in Kaḷḷil which is surrounded by water on the bank of which gold in deposited.
அரை ஆர் வெண் (1) கோவணத்த அண்ணல் (தான் ஏ)
is the chief who wears in his waist a white loin-cloth.

{$} நலன் ஆய பலி கொள்கை நம்பான்
Civaṉ who receives the alms which does good to those who give it.
நல்ல வலன் ஆய மழுவாளும் வேலும் வல்லான்
who is capable of wielding a battle-axe which gives a fair victory, and a trident.
கலன் ஆய தலை ஓட்டான்
has a skull which is his begging bowl.
கள்ளில் மேயான்
who is in Kaḷḷil.
மாதவத் தோர்க்கே மலன் ஆய தீர்த்தும் எய்தும்
removing the spiritual impurities of the people who have performed great penance, only he will join them.

{$} பொடி ஆர் மெய் பூசினும்
if the devotees smear their bodies with sacred ash sumptuously.
புறவின் நறவம் குடியா ஊர் திரியினும்
if they wander in the places having drunk the honey god from jungles.
கூப்பிடினும்
and if they utter loud sound
கடி ஆர் பூஞ்சோலைக் கள்ளில் மேயான் அடியார்கள் பண்பு இகழ்வார்கள் ஆதர்களே
ignorant persons will ridicule the nature of the devotees of the Lord in Kaḷḷil which has fragrant flower gardens.

{$} கரு நீல மலர் விம்மு கள்ளில்
Kaḷḷil where the blue nelumbo flowers unfold their petals
திரு நீல மலர் ஒண்கண் தேவிபாகம் புரிநூலும் திருநீறும் புல்கு மார்பின் பெருநீல மிடற்று அண்ணல் என்றும் பேணுவதே
is the place which the chief with a big blue neck, in whose chest the part of the tēvi who has bright eyes, like the beautiful blue nelumbo flower, a sacred thread of three strands and sacred ash are combined, always desires.

{$} வரி ஆய மலரானும் வையம் தன்னை உரிது ஆய அளந்தானும் உள்ளுதற்கு (அங்கு) அரியானும்
Civaṉ who is difficult even to be thought of by Piramaṉ who is in a flower of lines and Māl who measured the worlds which were his property as if right.
(1) அரிது ஆய கள்ளில் மேயான்
the Lord in Kaḷḷil which is a rare shrine
பெரியான் என்று அறிவார்கள் பேசுவாரே
those who know him will speak about him as a great god.

{$} ஆச்சியப் பேய்களோடு அமணர் குண்டர் பேச்சு இவை நெறி அல்ல
the talks of the buddhists who behave like pēy and who are fit to be ridiculed and of the low amaṇar are not proper paths.
மாச்செய்த வளவயல் மல்கு கள்ளில் தீச்செய்த சடை அண்ணல் திருந்து அடியே பேணுமின்கள்
(people of this world) worship the perfect feet of the chief who has a caṭai resembling fire in colour, and who is in Kaḷḷil which has great and fertile fields of increasing yield.

{$} திசை நான்கும் புகழ் காழிச் செல்வம் மல்கு பகல் போலும் பேர் ஒளியான் பந்தன்
Pantaṉ who has brilliance like the sun; who has the increasing wealth of spiritual knowledge and who is a native of Kāḻi which is praised by the people of the four quarters.
நல்லமுகைமேவும் முதிர்சடையான் கள்ளில் ஒத்த
To those who praise Kaḷḷil of the Lord who has a caṭai of mature growth to which fragrant buds are attached.
புகழோடும் பேரின்பம் புகுதும் (அன்றே)
supreme happiness and fame will reach them.
