அலைமல்கும் அரிசிலின் அதன் அயலே, சிலை மல்கு மதிள் அணி சிவபுரம்
is Civapuram which is adorned by a wall of fortification which resemble a mountain, and which is by the side of the river Aricil of increasing waves.

is Civapuram where in the gardens the champak flowers blossom when the bees which hum like musical melodies work into them.

is Civapuram where the bees work into the blossomed flowers of bottle-flower trees of fragrance, drink the honey and fly away.

is Civapuram where the male swan embraces its female in the natural ponds in whose flowers bees stay.

the city of the first cause, Civaṉ, who completely subdued the strength of the violent Irāvaṇaṉ who lifted the beautiful mountain.
விழவினில் எடுத்த வெண் கொடிமிடைந்து செழுமுகில் (1) அடுக்கும் வண் சிவபுரமே
is Civapuram where the flags hoisted during festivals become crowded and touch the clouds laden with water.

பண்டு அமர்தரு பழங்காவிரியின் தென்திரை பொருது எழுசிவபுரம்
is Civapuram where the clear waves of the old Kaviri which has been in existence since a long time, dashes against the banks and rises to a great height.
