those who drew near Civaṉ in Ālavāy who has a blue neck.
ஞாலம் ஆள்வர் (ஏ)
will rule over the world (as kings)

காலன் வீட (ஏ)
to destroy Kālaṉ (the god of death).
ஞாலம் ஏழும் ஆம் ஆலவாயிலார் சீலமே சொலீர்
speak always the easy approachable nature of Civaṉ in Ālavāy who is the cause for coming into existence of the seven worlds.

{$} ஆலநீழலார், ஆலவாயிலார், காலகாலனார்பால் (அது) ஆமின் (ஏ)
approach Civaṉ who is in Ālavāy, who is under the shade of the banyan tree and who dealt death to the god of death himself. (People of this world!)

{$} அந்தம்இல்புகழ் எந்தை ஆலவாய் பந்திஆர்கழல் சிந்தைசெய்மின் (ஏ)
(People of this world!) fix your thoughts on the feet of our father in Ālavāy, to which is fastened Kaḻal, and who has limitless fame.

{$} ஆடல் ஏற்றினார் கூடல் ஆலவாய் பாடியே மனம் நாடி வாழ்மின் (ஏ)
(People of this world!) singing the fame [of] Ālavāy which has another name Kūṭal, of Civaṉ who has a victorious bull, lead your lives desiring earnestly that shrine.

{$} அண்ணல் ஆலவாய் நண்ணினான்தனை எண்ணியே தொழத் திண்ணம் இன்பம் (ஏ)
to worship with joined hands meditating on Civaṉ who is in eminent Ālavāy, happiness is a certainty.

{$} அம்பொன் ஆலவாய் நம்பனார் கழல் நம்பி வாழ்பவர் துன்பம் வீடும்(ஏ)
the sufferings of those who live placing their trust in the feet of Civaṉ who is in Ālavāy which has beautiful gold, will vanish.

{$} (1) அரக்கனார் வலி நெருக்கன் ஆலவாய் உரைக்கும் உள்ளத்தார்க்கு இரக்கம் உண்மை (ஏ)
it is a true fact that those who have a heart which speaks sincerely about Ālavāy, the shrine of Civaṉ who pressed the strength of arakkaṉ, will have mercy.

the form of fire was rising higher and higher when both Māl and Piramaṉ were praising Civaṉ who is in Ālavāy and who has no form of his own.

{$} ஆரம் நாகம் ஆம் சீரன் ஆலவாய்த் தேர் அமண் செற்ற வீரன் என்பர் (ஏ)
wise people say that the famous Civaṉ who has garlands of cobras is the valourous god, who destroyed buddhists and amaṇar, in Ālavāy.

{$} அடிகள் ஆலவாய்ப் பழகொள் சம்பந்தன் முடிவு இல் இன்தமிழ் செடிகள் நீக்கும் (ஏ)
the sweet and her lasting Tamiḻ verses of Campantaṉ who is qualified to receive the grace of the God in Ālavāy, will remove all evils.
