People who wish your minds to be cleared of their impurities of the soul!
அத்தன் ஆரூரைப் பத்திமலர்தூவ
if you worship Ārūr of our father scattering the flowers of piety.
முத்தி ஆகுமே
you will obtain salvation.

{$} பிறவி அறுப்பீர்காள்
People who want to cut at the root of births.
அறவன் ஆரூரை மறவாது ஏத்துமின்
praise without forgetting Ārūr of Civaṉ who is the embodiment of virtues.
துறவி ஆகுமே
it will lead to the way of renunciation.

people who want to remove sufferings completely.
அன்பன் அணி ஆரூர் நன்பொன்மலர்தூவ
to worship scattering flowers made of gold and silver, Ārūr of Civaṉ who lends beauty to it.
இன்பம் ஆகுமே
you will obtain happiness in this world and eternal bliss hereafter.

{$} உய்யல் உறுவீர்காள்
people who want to save yourselves!
ஐயன் ஆரூரைக்கையினால் தொழ
to worship with joined hands Ārūr belonging to Civaṉ the master.
நையும் வினைதானே
the karmam-s will perish of their own accord.

{$} பிண்டம் அறுப்பீர்காள்
people who want to end completely being born in human bodies!
அண்டம் ஆரூரைக்கண்டு மலர் தூவ
if you scatter flowers obtaining sight of Ārūr of the god Civaṉ.
விண்டுவினைபோம்
Your Karmams will leave you being separated from you.

{$} பாசம் அறுப்பீர்காள்
People who cut at the root of bondage which has been with you for a long time.
ஈசன் அணி ஆரூர் வாசமலர்தூவ
to worship with fragrant flowers beautiful Ārūr of Civan
நேசம் ஆகும்
your piety will increase.

{$} வெய்யவினை தீர
(People of the world!) if you want the cruel Karmams to leave you.
ஐயன் அணி ஆரூர் செய்ய மலர்தூவ
to worship, scattering red flowers, the beautiful Ārūr of our master.
வையம் உமது ஆம்
you shall become the sole monarch of this world.

{$} அரக்கன் ஆண்மையை நெருக்கினான் ஆரூர் கரத்தினால் தொழ
to worship with joined hands Ārūr of Civaṉ who squeezed the strength of Arakkaṉ
திருத்தம் ஆகும்
one will become perfect.

{$} துள்ளும் இருவர்க்கும் வள்ளல் ஆரூரை உள்ளும் அவர்தம்மேல்
on those who always meditate upon Ārūr of Civan who showed his benevolence towards Māl and Piramaṉ who were haughty, each thinking that he was greater than the other.
விள்ளும் வினைதானே
Karmams will get separated of their own accord.

{$} கடுக்கொள் சீவரை அடக்கினான் ஆரூர் எடுத்து வாழ்த்துவார்
those who praise loudly in a high pitch of voice Ārūr of Civaṉ who controlled camaṇar who eat gall-nuts, and buddhists who cover their bodies with a blanket by name, ciVaram.
வேட்கை விடுப்பர்
will give up all desires.

{$} சீர்ஊர் சம்பந்தன் ஆரூரைச் சொன்ன பார் ஊர் பாடலார் பேரார் இன்பமே
those who are able to recite the songs which have spread throught Tamiḻ Nāṭu and which were composed on Ārūr by Campantaṉ whose eminence has spread everywhere, will obtain happiness which will never leave them.
