தேர் ஆர் வீதி முழவுஆர் விழவின் ஒலியும் திசை செல்ல
the bustle of the festival in which muḻavu is played, and cars are drawn, reach the ends of the four directions.

has the beauty of coral in the bright body which has the colour of gold which has brilliance always increasing.
வந்து ஈண்டு மாடம் எழில் ஆர்சோலை இலங்கு கோபுரம் தீண்டுமதியம் திகழும் நறையூர்ச்சித்தீச்சரத்தார்

smears on his body which is red like fire, white holy ash.
சரிகோவணக்கீளர்
wears a mens' loin-cloth sliding down, which is tied to a strip of cloth used as a waist-band.
எழில் ஆர் நாகம் புலியின் உடைமேல் (1) இசைத்து விடைஏறி
riding on a bull, fastening a beautiful cobra on the dress of a tiger's skin.
கழல் ஆர்சிலம்பு புலம்ப வருவார் சித்தீச்சரத்தார்

crushing the heads when the king of ilaṅkai surrounded by sea with a coastline, lifted the mountain, Kayilai by his shoulders as strong as the mountain.
மனம் ஒன்றி உரை ஆர்கீதம் பாட நல்ல உலப்பு இல்அருள்செய்தார்
granted his unbounded good grace when he sang famous songs, concentrating his mind.
திரை ஆர் புனல்சூழ் செல்வ நறையூர்த் சித்தீச்சரத்தார்

devotees and abstruse, great vētams and immortels in heaven.

paying obeisance by bending their heads.
குணங்கள் ஏத்தி
praising his qualities.
முதல்வா! அருள்' என்ன
when they pray, the origin of all things! grant your grace.
செடி ஆர் செந்நெல் திகழும் நறையூர்ச் சித்தீச்சரத்தார்

நீண்ட போர்வையார் இருந்து உண் தேரர்

ஒன்றும் உணரா ஊமர்வாயில் உரைகேட்டு உழல்வீர்காள்
people who wander listening to the words of those dumb persons who do not know anything!
கன்று உண்பயப்பால் உண்ணமுலையில்
when the calves drink the milk with desire from the udder.
கபாலம் அயல்(1) பொழிய
and overflows the vessel kept by the side.
சென்று உண்டு ஆர்ந்து சேரும்
gather in one place drinking the milk in the vessel and become satisfied.
நறையூர்ச் சித்தீச்சரத்தார்

{$} குயில் ஆர் கோல மாதவிகள் குளிர் பூஞ்சுரபுன்னை செயில் ஆர் பொய்கை சேரும் நறையூர்ச் சித்தீச்சரத்தாரை
on Civaṉ in the temple, citticcaram in naṟaiyūr where the beautiful common delight of the woods, perched on wich cuckoos sing, and cool curapuṉṉai (nākaliṅkam tree) which grow by the side of fields and big tanks.
மயில் ஆர்சோலை சூழ்ந்த காழிமல்கு ஞானசம்பந்தன் பயில்வார்க்கு இனிய பாடல் வல்லார் பாவம் நாசமே
the sins of those who are able to sing the songs which are pleasing to those who practise them and composed by flourishing Ñāṉacampantaṉ of Kāḻi surrounded by gardens where peacocks live, will perish.
