Civaṉ who has a black neck in Kaṇapaticcaram in cenkāttankuṭi where bees with wings hum making a loud noise.

when the sound of the drums which are tied tightly with leather shraps and the sound of the conches which are blown make a big sound.

அங்கையால் தொழுது ஏத்த அருச்சனைக்கு அன்று அருள் செய்தான்
Civaṉ bestowed his grace upon them when they performed arccaṉai worshipping him with joined and praising him.
செங்கயல் பாய் வயல் உடுத்த செங்காட்டங்குடி அதனுள்
in cenkāṭṭaṅkuṭi surrounded by fields where red carp fish leap.

the devotees praise Civaṉ bringing fragrant garland which are fit to adorn Civaṉ according to works on worship.
சேலின் ஆர் வயல்புடைசூழ் செங்காட்டங்குடி அதனுள்
in ceṅkāṭṭaṅkuṭi surrounded by fields abounding in cēl fish.
காலினால்கூற்று உதைத்தான் கணபதீச்சரத்தான்
Civaṉ who kicked with his leg the god of death is in Kaṇapaticcaram.

is on the mouths of those who suffer. (People who have sufferings always pray to him)

is angry at the same time with other religionists who do not believe in him.
நம் தலை மேலான்
he is on our heads (Civaṉ sits on the thousand-petalled lotus which is the sixth cakkaram according to yōka cāttiram)
மனத்து உளான்
stays in the hearts of people endowed with spiritual wisdom.
திண்ணியான்
is very strong.

செஞ்சடை மதியக் கண்ணியான்

Civaṉ has a body one half of which is the daughter of the mountain who has long eyes resembling blue nelumbo flowers, and are coated with collyrium.
பை அரவம் அரைக்கு அசைத்தான்
tied in the waist a hooded cobra.
மீன் பிறழ் அச் செய்யினார் (1) அகன்கழனிச் செங்காட்டங்குடியதனுள்
in ceṇkāṭṭaṅkuṭi which has broad fields, and tanks full of water in which fish leap.
கையின் ஆர் கூர் எரியான் கணபதீச்சரத்தான்
the Lord who has on his hand fire of excessive brightness is in Kaṇapaṭiccaram.

has the renown to crush the shoulders of the arakkaṉ (Irāvaṇaṉ).
போர் விடையான்
has a bull capable of fighting.
பெண்பாகம் மிகப்பெரியான்
is very great by having on one half a lady.
சேடு உடையான் செங்காட்டாங்குடிஉடையான்
has youthfulness; has ceṅkāṭṭaṅkuṭi as his abode.

has a cremation ground in which he dances joining with pūtams.

Civaṉ will go everywhere riding on a bull.
அன்று இருவர் தேர்ந்து உணரா வான் ஊரான்
has the space as his place where he rose as a column of fire not to be known by Māl and Piramaṉ, in the distant past though they searched for him.
வாழ்த்துவார் மனத்து உளான்
is in the hearts of those who praise him.

படி நுகராது அயர் உழப்பார்க்கு அருளாத பண்பினான்
Civaṉ who has the nature of not bestowing his grace on both who do not enjoy in the earth enjoyable things and voluntarily suffer.
பொடி நுகரும் சிறுத்தொண்டர்க்கு அருள்செய்யும் பொருட்டாகக் கடிநகராய்வீற்றிருந்தான் கணபதீச்சரத்தான்
Civaṉ is seated majectically in Kaṇapatīccam as his guarded temple with the intention to grant his grace to ciṟuttoṇṭar who enjoys holy ash.

the blue nelumbo flower appear like the eye.
கடிபொழிலின் நறை இலங்கு வயற்காழித்தமிழ் ஞானசம்பந்தன்
Ñāṉacampantaṉ who possesses knowledge of Tamiḻ and who is a native of Kāḻi where in the fields the honey flowing from the fragrannt gardens is eminent.
சிறை இலங்கு புனல் படப்பைச் செங்காட்டங்குடிசேர்த்தும் மறைஇலங்கு தமிழ்வல்லார் வான் உலகத்து இருப்பார்
those who are capable of reciting the tamiḻ verses which are as eminent as vētam which pertain to ceṅkāṭṭaṅkuṭi which has gardens and tanks with banks will resider in heaven.
