is the place of Civaṉ who is brilliant as he has on his catai a cobra, crescent and datura flowers are combined.

{$} (1) கள் நின்று எழு சோலையில் வண்டு பண் நின்று ஒலிசெய் பனையூரே
Paṉaiyūr where in the gardens honey is plenty and bees hum like melody-types.
எண் ஒன்றி நினைந்தவர்தம் பால் உள் நின்று மகிழ்ந்தவன் ஊராம்
is the place of Civaṉ who dwells with joy in the minds of those who meditate upon him with concentration of mind.

paṉaiyūr where many people praise when some people who render service in the sanctuary, to his fest always.
அலரும் எறிசெஞ்சடை தன்மேல் மலரும் பிறையொன்று (உம்) உடையான் ஊர்
is the place of Civaṉ who has on his shining red caṭai flowers and a thriving crescent.

{$} அடியார்தொழ மன்னவர் ஏத்தப்படியார் பணியும் பனையூர்
Paṉaiyūr where the devotees worship and Kings praise Civaṉ and others of this world pay obeisance to him.
இடிஆர்கடல் நஞ்சு அமுது உண்டு
having consumed the poison that rose in the ocean that makes a roaring noise, as nectar;

paṉaiyūr where the drums make a big sound filling everywhere when the festivals of great eminence are increasing in the earth.

who has a dress of the skin of an elephant of great strength; who has many armies of pūtams of great esteem.

our god who inflicted suffering on Irāvaṇaṉ who had shining ten crowns, and then bestowed his grace on him.
உலகில் உயிர்/ நீர் நிலம் மற்றும் பலகண்டவன்
and who created in this world liging beings, water, land and many other things

People of this world who start with joy thinking of receiving boons from Civaṉ!
பிரம(ன்)னொடு மால் அறியாத பரமன் உறையும் பனையூர் சிரம் முன் அடிதாழ வணங்கும்
pay obeisance to paṉaiyūr where the supreme god who could not been known by Piramaṉ and Māl, dwells, to make your heads lie at the feet of Civaṉ.

அழிவல் அமணரொடு தேரர்மொழி வல்லன சொல்லியபோதும் இழிவு இல்லது ஓர் செம்மையினான்
Civaṉ who is spotless without disgrace even though the amaṇar who are on the path of destruction and tēvar speak harsh words about him.

{$} பார் ஆர் விடையான் பனையூர்மேல்
on paṉaiyūr belonging to Civaṉ who has a bull that swallowed the earth (the bull is none other than Māl who swallowed the earth).
சீர் ஆர் தமிழ் ஞானசம்பந்தன் ஆராத சொல் மாலைகள் பத்தும் ஊர் ஊர் நினைவார் உயர்வாரே
those who meditate upon the ten garlands of words which do not become stale by repeating, and composed by ñāṉacampantaṉ possessing knowledge of eminent tamiḻ, in each and every places, are really great people.
